Back to the Yep!

Evotio asked if it would be a Problem to run water/alky WITH the adaptive system, and Shiv said Yep! which I read as it would be a problem to run alky with the adaptive system. Shiv please clarify!
Thanks for input Andrew and Killasweep.
P.S. Andrew, keep an eye out for the TME turbo, and Hide my 280's where noone will sell them to someone else!

There is no problem with running methanol with the adaptive kit. In fact, we can include methanol control in the adaptive logic. Dustin and the boys are working on the methanol pump driver right now. The controller itself, is already integrated in the XEDE. We just needed a way to transform a low current 0-5v output (Pin 3 Grey connector) into a signal that could drive the methanol pump directly. It's requires a separate box that is being designed rigtht now. It's all good. See the menu screen of the new XMAP version and you'll see a nice Methanol Control button at the bottom.

Cheers,
shiv

Sounds promising. I hope it comes to market quickly and supports the Innovate LM-1 wideband (since that's what I have).

I have personally been working on the methanol controler for some time now. The logic and features are far more involved than any other meth kit on the market. Thats all the info i am givin' for now. I guess I am a bit more of a tease than Shiv.

Newb question: For someone with a completely stock MR what does this adaptive feature provide that I wouldn't get from say, the "normal" Xede? Thanks!

Shiv, this is all very fascinating! I'll talk to you more about integrating the adaptive tune to my Aquamist 2D set up when I see you for my tune in So Cal.

Shiv, i think thats pretty neat that you "tweak" your light so it NEVER says you are online, you are apparently always "OFFLINE", but your responses are lightning fast to post, are you running V4 or something?
