I give you kudos Shiv for proposing a solution that any other tuner in their right mind would be digging a six foot deep trench to bury.

*Please* consider supporting multiple wideband O2 options!

Many people are already using the LM-1 unit, while the LC-1 is a brand new product. Even though they are made by the same manufacturer, I believe their serial protocol is slightly different.

Shiv
Thank you!

Also, just like many people here are ready and willing to try out this stuff on the EVOs, I would *really* like to be involved in the first run for the STi. As I stated earlier in this thread, I'm not currently using the MAP (just passes through) or TPS (just tapped) inputs on my Xede... and since I'm running a reflash, I could even start with a blank Xede map as my "base map". I'm also using an ECU harness extension, so any wiring (e.g. for the knock adapter) should be very easy for me to do.

Edit: Access to a dyno, too!

Don't worry... it's coming for the STi as well. We'll be testing on our car very soon...

I just wrote a e-mail to Ziggy at Zeitronix and sending him the link to this thread. I would like to keep the ZT-2 active since I like their dataloging capabilities.

How does everyone feel about this?

This sounds PERFECT for the midwest dyno day. I believe we have about a dozen ppl, or so, with a few of us bringing more than the usual staged cars, so a tuning clinic should fit in really well into a 2-day schedule.

As I have stated before, I would be more than happy to shell out a few $$ to get some edumecation on the XEDE and how to tune my car.

I hadn't intended to attend any dyno days, but with this format I will. This is much, much more valuable to me than a custom map.

Damn, talk about dropping a bomb on the rest of the tuners out there!! I cant believe how far ahead of the game Vishnu is over the rest. No more driving to dynos and dyno days and sending ECU's in. Never thought it would happen. I have a feeling there is gonna be some tuners that see a huge decline in the need for thier services. LOL. You got my attention. Sign me up!! Much props Vishnu!!

I hate asking this question, but now since you have found a way to allow the Xede to help auto-tune the motor under different conditions, arent you a little afraid that other vendors will catch on as well. Believe me, I am seriously considering on switching over but my dilemma is that I already have money spent. Nothing worse than going back and taking things off the car to try and sell it just to move forward again. Thats really bad ars though. I had mentioned to someone ages ago that it would be cool if you could just enter in a AFR and boost level and whatever parts you added the car, it would self tune. COnstanly, changing timing and fuel to keep the car running at optimum performace. Of course I was told, that would be too expensive etc etc. Its awesome to hear that you made this happen but honestly, is your product the only one capable of this new technology?
Regards,

Sign me up as well...when can you come back to Washington?

So much for buying a UTEC.....

I don't know how much anyone knows about the Freedom ECU for the 4AG, but this sounds exactly like it.

Help a fellow retarded brother, Is the chicago (midwest) dyno day ON? in July? I read it as Shiv doesnt want to do dyno days, but wants to train us how to do our own cars! He wants to work out the bugs, so he wont be available in July. anyone else read it like that? If no more dynos, I am OK with that if you START August 1st!

I cant add my parts and stay out of the boost until things are sorted out......ok I could, but DONT want to. do I send in my boxes for a re-flash? with the new turbo/cams/Alky?
