I might try Firestone again. I had them do my RX7 and they did a good job. I think it was Butch that did it actually.

So I did another full boost leak test on my car tonight after re-tightening and fixing the last leak I found.

Turns out my wastegate is leaking boost. Argh.

I pressurized the system and could hear a leak, and sure enough the wastegate was leaking boost from between the top and bottom. Seems like it's the same seal I had a problem with before. Frustrating.

On the bright side, I clamped the line going to the wastegate to test the rest of the system and it all held just over 30psi fine.

 

I wish i had money for your voltex kit!! what hood do you have?
