If anyone needs any parts ported (intake, exhaust) manifold or anything tapped, I can do it, just let me know.

Okay, now I have something against you wes. You just BARELY found mitsuparts? They're like Pelican, for Evos... Hooray

Anyway, I was taking a test, and then went on the audi/vw/um my porsche drive with a group of guys... Met at Sugarhouse park instead of east high, then went up emmigration and down east/i80... You guys are alwasy welcome to come... We park from 7-8 on Thursdays (usually later even) and then go do whatever.

Depending on how you drive it. Every 3k should be oil, tranny, difs, and transfer case. If you don't drive hard at all (in which case, why the hell'd you buy an Evo, right?) just follow the manual.

Be going like 50 mph in 4th. Floor it. If your rpms go up noticably faster than your speed, you're probably in trouble.

These are what I had, they were awesome 3-5 years ago when I got them... Now there's a lot better for the money out there. If you want badass coilovers get a good set of RobiSpec or get some Moton Clubsports set up by (yes, really) Vesko, otherwise I'd save till I could get a set of either.

Jake Moton's FTW but right now at this point my cusco zero-2E's work out good for me Could get a set of some cusco zero-2r's. Get some KW's variant 3's, I think DMS's would be ****ing sick to have but the 50mm are not cheap...could go DMS 40mm. Some ppl like to roll on HKS stuff...There's alot of stuff he could go with but I personally like to go after stuff I can get some feedback from someone as well as researching it myself

but Jason it depends what your after man. A good street occasional track setup or more full blown track setup.

We've had this discussion a few times before

The KWs are what Robi uses. The cuscos are also pretty nice. Regardless there are plenty nicer things than the JICs even in that price range.

So can anyone get: K&N Air Filter, 996 Carrera 2/4 (1999-04), for less than $95 shipped? Stupid drop in filter is 95 bucks, god damn Porsche... I thought the 15 dollar bulb was a shock.

The cheapest tuning device I've found is like in the mid 800s What's worse is I can't seem to find one at that f-ing price range that would be custom tunable... The only reason I'd even think of getting one is to run E85.

I'm definitely not touching any engine mods for this car though... That'll wait till whenever the hell I get a 996 TT instead, since they mod/tune like Evos (40-50 whp just with a tune... then intake and exhaust... then two GT35Rs ). If I keep this car long enough, I see myself doing suspension and maybe some front and rear sway bars... But that's it.

And at the comments on the videos... I think more than "sick car" comments there's "hey man, inspire me to make millions" comments. And every time he gives the right advice, what a cool dude. Love the video where he scares the **** out of the girls at the car wash.

I'm not noisy enough to scare people. The S2000 was the only car ever noisy enough.
