I'll take that as a compliment.

ps WHAT is with all the crazy nuts in Utah with guns!? I just read on the front page of Yahoo News about the shooting at Trolley Square. That's tragic.

Trolley Square has always been a place of evil, its where my car got broken into in the middle of the afternoon... And still they don't up security. I hope this will get them some better security with the neighborhood they're in...

Unless you cut off the roof (convertable) and converted your car to three wheel drive I think your car will be fine.

What did he charge you? I may want him to take a look at my Super Racings this spring. I want to check out your cusco's sometime as well, perhaps go for a ride.

20 per group on the West Track... It can still get crowded on half the track with 20 people, don't get me wrong, I might still want to do it especially if I can convince myself they'll let me do it with my slicks... Afterall, there's gotta be at least one local who can lay the smack down on all the punk idiot kids

Here: for those who are as lazy as me... http://www.gtlivetour.com/events/att/cobb/index.html
Looks like its free, and perhaps a good parking spot? I think i'll pass on the parade lap, but i'll go for a reserved place to park. I agree, we need to put the smack down on all the out of town noobs. I think you'll be cool on your slicks. With everything going on I doubt there will be more than a self-tech.

Are you asking a real question, or do you just like posting over and over that you have an evo 4? We get it. You have an evo 4. We've all driven it. We all wish we had ayc. Congrats.

That is tragic. I can't believe he went into pottery barn kids and opened fire.

One guy with a concealed weapons permit and some decent skills may have limited the shooter's rampage. I was in the hospital with my first kid being born when i realized that i needed mine. utah, or south central LA, people are crazy everywhere.

I can't imagine driving any lower. I have to be super careful going in and out of driveways. I also have installed some sideskirts and a front lip since that pic was taken.

I used to be careful going out of driveways, now that there's no paint on the lower end of my front bumper I haven't cared... Haha

I think the parade lap would drive me crazy, so I'd pass too... or else I'd have to pass everyone haha. But being able to do the karts and getting a spot in the paddock to park would be awesome.

What group/s are everyone running in for the "Track Battle" as they call it...? Maybe I'll run in one or two. Do you think they'll give us access to a little space to change tires and brakes and such?

There has been one and only one JDMish car that has been respectable enough to stomp my "US" EVO. Integra GSR with a B18C* based built motor in it. Water injection with a Eaton Whipple super charger running about 10psi or so. The owner would 'finally' shift at about 10k, and that wide rpm range really made the car sing.

Some of the other goodies were Darton sleeves, Eagle rods, JE pistons, and the whole bottom end was balanced to 12,000rpm (Remember the Spoon boys?). The top end got super nice valves and a 5-angle grind on some nice steel valve seats.

The formula is the same the world around regarding tricked out cars ... lots of buildup care, and a sound plan from the ground up. There is no magic car purchase out there that puts anybody into a pwnage mode.

A JDM illeg4lzz imp0rtz needs just as much knowhow about getting it to go fast as any other c4rz out ther3z.

Ch3erz,

~j.
