Mr. Snake, I see your name listed as browsing the US Region forum ... you and I are the only ones ... why don't you post something? :P

The 05 transmission and differential are in the S2000. Me likes!

Yes, there were about 9 S2000s totaled in an intransit train accident. Tranny and diff had 6 miles on 'em. Gearing in the 04+ S2000 tranny is much better ... with more aggressive gearing in 1 through 4 with taller gearing in 6. Stronger tranny too with carbon synchros.

Tranny is oh so smoooth now ... not too mention quiet! Old one sounded like it had marbles rolling around in it.

Ok guys, after watching my boost gauge a few times with the new exhaust, what are your thoughts on MBCs? My boost varies from the stock taper of like 16psi, up to a mere 19psi taper with max peaks ranging from 18.5 stock to 20.5...just figured the best way to get it to pick and stay would be an MBC, but would Al's flash in March fix that too, or is a MBC the best easy fix?

Al's program will help it quite a bit, but a MBC is the most ideal. I have mine set around 20.5 and it tapers to about 20 or so. Good stuff.

Al's refleash will help reduce some of the taper, but it won't be as solid as a MBC. So for the money a MBC is a sure way to hold boost.

Ben has Perrins for a good deal, and I hear the Hallman unit is sweet because you can get the in-cab adjustment cable. Or you could make one for like $10 like I did. It works fine. I thought it struggled, but it's my exhaust not the MBC. I'm wait for some free parts to fix my exhaust issue.
