Evolution IX Cams - Available!
There is no reason - NONE - that IX cams should cost more than VIII cams. The exh cam is no diff anyway.
Those that want to be the first with these will pay for that right. I'll wait till they drop to $450 a pair.

I will wait until we see numbers and the price drops.
You're always going to pay a premium for newly released parts. At least we can rest easy knowing that WORKS sells good parts with great service and knowledge. It's not like they're some thief in NYC telling you "It's Cosworth cams I swear. It fell off the back of the truck."

The bottem line is that this kit costs a lot. And Im not suggesting that Works or anyone is overpricing.
The real question IMHO is whether or not the ends justify the means. Is $1000+ worth 10-20whp? or whatever the gains end up being. I guess we will have to wait until some folks get this setup installed and post the before and after dyno results to find out.
However, it would be nice if Works or Cosworth already did that for us before selling an expensive kit without a clue as to the results. The Cosworth webpage for these cams is about as vague as you can get. Or better put, worthless. The fact that current data has suggested poor gains from other attempts on the IX isn't helping the cause either.
