TTP-Engineering Tunes the 2009 Ralliart 4b11
Horsepower is a variable acheived with torque and RPM. This is why HP goes up when torque goes down at higher RPM's. More engine rpm and you get more HP but torque stays low. I believe that is what Steve93talon is implying.
There is so much BS speculation on this thread its like walking into a sweet 16 MTV party.
Dont worry, Im dropping my car off to a tuner for a month or more so they can go buck wild and figure out what some us already know to be true.

I don't know why people are freaking out, the Ralliart was never meant to be a race car, it was designed to be a good daily driver. With a good tune, the car will be plenty quick for driving around town. Some people are acting as if this news has completely destroyed the cars viability or that there is some grand conspiracy involving Mitsubishi, Getrag, various tuners and various automotive magazines designed to unfairly bad-mouth the transmission's capabilities. I'm sorry, but we could have seen this coming from a mile away and some of us have been saying it for months now. If this news is so unsettling, you might as well go buy a 5-speed Evo. For 90% of people, this isn't a big deal and the car will still be fine for what they need.

Im happy with those numbers, they seem closer or better than stock Evo X numbers and that just means less money I gotta spend to have a safe and reliable everyday ride and still have fun driving it. I didnt get this car to make a race car out of it, I knew there would be limitations with the tranny, just wanted an everyday car that had some power and was fun to drive, which it is. If I want more speed, Ill get lightweight wheels and throw some carbon fiber parts on and get some racing seats.
When is this released, Im glad Im only an hour drive from Orlando to get it tuned.

If I had another manual EVO i'd want make 500 hp in it just because you can.
So now with SST i'm stuck with a low 300hp.
ya, should still be fun to drive though, damn its already fun stock, of course not as much fun as a heavily modded Evo, but we will still have a reliable fun everyday car, Ill just use the other car as a weekender/track monster.
