Ive been told the cars reach Adelaide on Monday the 5th, and i dont expect to pick up the car til friday the 9th.

Ive been charged a total $67975 for mine :-(

$61990 car
$570 rego
$2420 stamp
$2995 dealer Delivery

Rmm Rmm: What number in the list were u? I was number 5, which was actually 10 seconds after number 4. Whoever number 4 was beat me in the show room door by seconds. lol

Anyone have a price for the floor mats?

Anyone know if the floor mats, pedal's etc will be avaliable next week?

Yeah, I don't think Stamp Duty in NSW is anywhere near that figure THX!

I pulled out where I bought my BMW 12 months ago, and I paid $2100 and it was 60K.

I take it that luxury car tax in included in the dealer delivery? If not you could be in for a surprise - but $3k for dealer delivery is HUGE!
Also, what rate is your stamp duty? That seems tiny at $2420. It's 3.9% on that figure.

I wanna move to where ever you are!

I'm pushing for my dealer to at least include the mats as part of the price - hell, it's a 65K vehicle FFS!

I had to double check WA stamp duty rates! I am going to cry!!!

From the WA gov website:
Over $40,000 = 6.5% of Market Value

$1500 more for each car to government per car!!! *sob*

Achieved! Providing I bought some other accessories - which I did.

Just spoke to my dealer, stamp duty in NSW is as follows.

It is 3% of the car's value up to 45K, and 5% above that.

Thus with the Evo:

Roughly 65K
3% of 45K = $1350.00
5% of 20K = $1000.00

Thus stamp duty - in NSW at least - will be about 2.5K.

Luxury Car tax is included in the cost of the car - not calculated on top of the price.

All we pay above retail is rego, stamp duty, and dealer delivery. Dealer delivery is *usually* about $1100, but it's set by the Dealer Principal at each dealer, and I will be advised tomorrow. Wont wanna be too much more than that, certainly not 3K!

Well then Ill be mentioning this to the Dealer and asking for floor mats to be included.

Subaru offered me a brand new sti onroad for $58000 to get me to change my mind. Thats almost $5k discount. Was very tempting

Just to to make sure of this... So this wouold apply as a federal thing, yes? I take it as so as Luxury Tax is a federal tax, not controlled by the states. Therefore all us would not need to pay extra Luxury tax on $61,990.

Can people please confirm this? I want to make sure before I talk to my dealer.

Dealer delivery in WA I am sure going to be more than NSW, just even getting the cars over here will be a big factor on asserting that.

As I said, mine was on the proviso of buy some other accessories. Don't get the rest us into trouble LOL

But still push for them!! It is 5k more than the STI which comes with much much more!

Thanks

That is correct, it is a federal tax, not state.
