I'm pretty sold on the dyno flash, although I don't know whether to do the mail in or wait for Al to set something up at AMS in Arlington Heights (which is close to my house). Also, an exhaust will be my next upgrade, and from what I have been reading, it sounds like nothing matches the flashes like a Buscher 3"? Any help from you guys out there would be greatly appreciated!

Place your order with my new Evom vendor Nino's Auto Acc. - you can find him on vendor's forum - for the through the mail reflash today and I'll throw in a free Buschur intake kit ($80.00 value) - - also - i'll give you a credit towards the price of the custom tuning at AMS in march or when and IF I get there ! In the meantime - try out the reflash first hand and see what everyone is talking about !

To the guy with the question about having the Bushur turboback and getting it reflashed. Yes, Bushur is awesome with the reflash. I onyl had the t-back and intake when i got mine flashed. I gained 31.5HP to the wheels. Was also running only 91 octane. But yes the Dynoflash is the way to go, pricewise and moreso quality and power gains.

Thanks for the info guys! What does the flash exactly do? Does it adjust your air/fuel and hold peak boost? And at what ratio and what boost? I also already have an intake (so I won't be needing the Buscher) and I have a Profec B Spec 1. Can you choose a specific ratio for air/fuel? sorry about all the questions, I am new to the mitsu/evo scene. Thanks again.

I cannot explain the mail order reflash, but the custom reflash remaps the A/F ratios as well as the timing at various RPM and loads. In addition, it changes your fuel cut rpm to a higher value, and improves the boost curve. I think it also removes the electronic speed limit but there is no way I'd ever need that feature

Just got my ECU back today from Al. What a huge improvement to an already impressive setup.

I asked Al to set me up with a mail in tune to compliment my Buschur stage 2 equalvalent mods. The ECU went out Monday morning and was back at my door step Wednesday morning. I was already quite pleased with the hardware mods, but this tune really brings the most out of the hardware. It really feels as if it was the missing half of all the hard parts. Car pulls strong all the way to the rev limit in every gear. The car is a blast to drive on the street with very good throttle response and immediate power. I just can't get enough of this car now... and one of my recent cars had over 800hp.

I can't wait to try this tune out on the road course. I have a feeling the car is going to do very well.

Best mod for the $. Thanks a lot, Al! Will you be visiting the Northwest anytime soon?

You made my day. That "Fireball" tune - named after the moderator Fireball. Its one of my best through the mail flashes and even makes great power gains in 91 and 92 octane versions. Enjoy and thanks !

haha. How appropriately named. The first time I drove it, a nice fireball shot out as I drove down the street doing a 2-3 shift at 4000rpm. The neighbors were quite impressed.

That was the only time it'd done it so far though.

Great tune. Can't wait to get some cams and another tune in the future.
