How many more minutes before this thread is removed by the Vishnu regime.......

Good to hear feedback about the Dynoflash. Remember folks, two good competing products helps the consumer, sooner or later it will drive down cost of both or cause one to create an even better product. I hope this thrwad will lead to a more productive discussion about the tuning options of the Evo, no one wins when a flame war breaks out....

got my ecu back from Al this past week. I just did the mail in, and only have a k&n drop in filter and the hks hi-power cat back. I figured it would be a lot smoother and responsive but not a dramatic change since I don't have more mods and it was just the mail in. Boy was I wrong! It is a dramatic difference feels like a totally different car. It pulls so much harder now, especially past 5,000. It is just so much quicker, I mean WOW! And Al seems really cool. He called me while he was setting everything up for my ecu and talked to me about my car and mods. But anyways, props to Al my dynoflash is great

got a question here gents. what should i be looking at for hp with the following mods. 264/272 cams, hks adjustable cam gears, aem short air intake, 3" downpipe, custom 3" exhaust (no cat, no resonator, no muffler), walbro fuel pump, perrin fuel rail, 750cc injectors and boost controller. my next step is getting the flash on my computer. i really wondering what the power difference is going to be from before the flash to after.

Al,

When the EVO8 Lands in Oz, will you offer Mail-in DynoFlash's for us Ozzi's ???

Dont suppose you know anybody in Aus/Melbourne with your talent and dedication ???

What would be the Cost for a Mail-in to us Australians ... ?

Hi Al,

Dont expect you to reply, I havn't seen you post for a while, The threads just getting to big.......

I just wanted to put an idea forward, something that a well know tunning house down here in Oz did last year.

I mentioned to you earliear that I have had experience with the ECUTek, which is more or less what your doing with the EVO8 but its for the WRX. Anyway.....

We both know to get the best possible tune, is having the customers car on the dyno !! Can't agree with you more, thats how I had my car done, and it was sensational. However I wasn't willing to drive down to Sydney(14Hr drive) then back to Melbourne, to have this done.

What MRT setup, is a number of Tunning days, in Most Majour Cities. They found a reliable workshop that would hire there DYNO for a week, Then posted there intentions on a Forum, all that were interested made a booking. MRT simply flew down with there laptop and a bunch of other needed parts and spent a week tunning cars.

I had mine tunned when they organised the Melbounre trip.

Just Reading through this thread, I feel for the guys who have had the Mail-in DynoFlash done. Would be much better getting it on a Dyno.

So my suggestion to you Al, would be consider setting up Tunning Trips - in your Majour Cities.....

Just a suggestion.

PS: If or When you have done the US, maybe you could come down to Aus .....
