I'm guessing the little bit of damaged caused the sensor to go nuts so it's lowered the boost just like when it notices that cone filter everyone likes to use. Do I need to replace the maf honeycomb before I send my ecu to you? I seem to be getting around the boost problem with the mbc I installed. I currently have Apexi GT catback, Apexi power intake, ground wire kit and the mbc. Do you recommend a K and N panel of the Apexi power intake, and should I replace the damaged maf before I send the ecu to you with the above list of mods. Since I have a damaged honeycomb do I keep the mbc on and send you the ecu with the above mods to keep the ecu from cutting back my boost?

I sugges you repair the broken part. The MAF reading depends on a consistant air flow through that sensor. Try getting it warrantied then send me the ecu and keep running the MBC

getting reflash

mailing ecu tomorrow first thing in the morning. so the rev limit is 7800, is it safe to rev up to 7800 ?? Because for stock, the engine at 6800 already sound like it's giving it all, so is 7800 safe? would it blow up anything in the engine? (i know it's a dumb a** question, but still i want a confirmation to get all my concerns disappear) Do you guys shift at 7800 all the time when "playing" with other cars?

Its afe to rev to 7800 - we have 700 plus guys out there so far with the flash and not one problem

BTW - after the flash we make more whp up top so most people will start to run into the red line much faster and more often - thats why we raise the rev limiter higher

While on the stock car it really dies after 7,000 - we actually get it making power up there

Let me know how you like it !

I usually shift around 7200 at the latest cause after that it just doesn't seem to pull very hard. After 7200 the boost is not at 20psi either and the engine sounds and feels like its just plain running out of steam. Most dyno charts Ive seen show torque drops in this range anyways and without larger intercooler/turbo/cams, the torque curve cant be brought up.

Just my 2cents

Received my ECU this morning and must say thanks Al for the quick turn around! The first thing I noticed was the smooth power band. The car also pulls all the way past red line now and the turbo seems to spool up faster. This is a huge plus in my book. Great product! I am sure once I get the MBC installed and set to 20.5 PSI it will even feel better.

Thanks AL!

As suggested by Secret Chimp, I am adding this link in this thread, recounting rebelzx's latest Dynoflash experience.
Seeing as the thread was started and closed in less than an hour at midnight last night, many folks probably missed it.

Zoeb - I hope you don't mind.
