Jake, get a flash, you won't be disappointed. You should take mine for a spin one day!

Yessir Scott sir, if we hadn't been in a rush to meet the rest of the fam for breakfast...well, we both wanted a ride...HE definitly needs a ride, cuz I rode in Ben's, and that was enough to convince me to start modding...maybe if we all get together again some time you could give me a ride or something, dangit, sorry Al, turning this into another Utah thread....blah blah blah, anyway, looks like I'll be good for the baseflash at least

I got the Custom Road Tune in West Palm. Totally a different car, I don't even have to down shift it to blow past people on the highway now the car has ***** in 5th. Silky smooth and much quicker and much more usable power band all the way to 7,800rpm feels like the car would keep on pulling way past that it wants to pull and pull and pull. Sorry I didn't hang around Al, to tell you in person. how good of a job you did. I just figured you had those 3 guys to tune. I didn't want to keep them waiting.

P.S. Al loves the on ramps here in FL.

10:00 update. The car feels even better now that it sat for 4 hours and cooled down. It feels like a different car.

I have flashed over 1,000 evos with the 7800 rpms rev limit so far and not one has thrown a rod yet

I think its safe to rev it as much as you want and after its Dyno Flashed it usually pulls all teh way to the rev limiter !

Smile

got my through the mail bout 2 weeks ago and installed my turboback at the same time. My butt dyno isn't so sensative, so I think its more powerful.... but I certainly appreciate no longer hitting fuel cut. Gonna wait for the 20g-Ti, get a fuel pump, and cams, and send her right back for only $100!! (the reflash=100... I wish it were for all of that...)
edit: oh yea, while I'm not sure bout the hp increase, I definately KNOW that I lost fuel economy I'm not too concerned, but I do know she's drinking it like no tomorrow... kinda expensive

plus 2 questions:
So, since the flash makes her run richer, why do people think it'll be better on fuel?

I was looking on here bout shooting flames, people say that with more fuel and no cat you certainly will... I took video of mine (let me know if you want to see it) and no flames at all. I'm not heartbroken, just wanna know if theres a correlation between having a flash and not flaming (I suppose its nice that I wont get pulled over for it, but it woulda been kinda cool... in my opinion)
