I think the way Agile was printing out the sheets is why it said flywheel at the top. Raven Ron's first sheet had his numbers superimposed over someone else's flywheel #s, so I think the heading was just not changed, that's all. The numbers we put up are definitely at the wheels...

I talked to agile today about the "FLY WHEEL POWER" on the dyno sheets.

Apparently they usually figure in drivetrain loss and display it as flywheel power on the dynosheets. They did NOT do that with our dynos, so our dyno sheets show actual WHEEL Horsepower but they needed that screen(the one that says flywheel) in order to show our gains

Typical Dynoflash (Fireball 2) review =)

I got the fireball 2 reflash about 2 months ago, but didn't have the 3" exhaust yet, so I kept the boost low at around 17 psi. It felt great and definitely had some more midrange and top end than before.

However, I just installed my B&B TB and turned the boost up to where it belongs. HOLY CRAP! The torque this thing has is absolutely disgusting! It simply SLAMS you into your seat and holds you there all the way to 7800 rpms. The best 200 bucks I've ever spent on a car. Worth absolutely every penny and more.

Anybody who's on the fence like I was for a while, go ahead and get the reflash. You'll be kicking yourself later when the price has risen and you missed out on probably the best deal the Evo community has seen

Yeah. I've been giving rides today. Its hilarious to watch the rider's face when I floor it in 2nd gear. Wide eyes and open mouths from every one of them

Thanks for the great review - honestly the Fireball 2 is some serious stuff. I really stumbled onto something really good with that and it was worth the 6 months of my life spend working on tuning evos to come up woth something which can be safely sent through the mail and yet can also yeild major power and trq gains

Here is another guy with the Fireball 2 technology in action

i got dynoed on friday the 19th, i went in with 3inch dp, 3inch catback, and hks intake and put down 242whp with some serious detonations. Agile put a mbc on, Al tuned it up. At the end of the day i put down 293.3whp and for some reason the torque didnt read correctly. Ill post the dyno sheet in a little when i get to school. So thats 50whp gain on just a mbc and dynotune. Im happy, i cant wait to get more stuff, ill be putting down 330whp in no time.

Can anyone explain to me why all of these dyno graphs show such drastic reduction in torque values with RPM increases? To me, peak values mean nothing. The goal of a tune should be to optimize and maximize the area under the torque curve. Are these tunes actually reducing the area under the curve compared to stock?

Can anyone actually post a bone stock Evo dyno chart before and after a dynoflash so that I can see that the area under the torque curve is actually increasing?

Thanks,
Tim

I've been preaching this all along to deaf ears. The 2.5" turbo back makes more torque (wh power) than the 3" turbo back - all things being equal using the "stock" turbo.

Great job GottaGo

WOW!!!! I just got DYNOflashed in chattanooga

I met up with another EVO owner in downtown Atlanta at the Varsity near Georgia Tech and started the 118 mile drive to chattanooga at 9:30pm and got to TN at 11:15. Met up with AL and saw the 11 second beast that AL drives. Around 1:30 am AL take my car for spin and check the timing then gives me a mail flash. The cool part is we had three people in car with over 600 pounds of weight on the car. The car pulls like crazy now and when AL drove the car with three people going up a ramp I could feel the G's as my head went back. All I could say was holy sh$T . With three people in the car that my car couldn't keep traction in first

After AL gave me the mail flash he let me drive the car and I only weigh 140 pounds and I was amazed at how smooth the power was in all gears. I have spent only $1200 on mods and have gained 60-70HP to the wheels. When I get my cams I will get a custom tune from BIG AL to get another 40HP.

I drove over 250 miles back and forth from ATL to chattanooga to ATL and didn't leave until 2:15am and got home at 4:00am. I only got 4 hours sleep and don't regret a single second. The only way to feel the true power of the EVO is with a DYNOFLASH from AL.

Thanks Again Big AL and have a safe trip to AMS

My mods

SP Downpipe 75mm
3" UltimateRacing highflow cat
Hi power Catback 75MM
Buschur MBC
KN drop in filter
Mail Flash

Estimated Wheel horsepower at 22psi 31O. I can't wait to run at the track and DYNO my car.
