First off i just want to thank big Al for making the trip down to Chatanooga TN. I was fortunate enough to meet him in Johnson City. Al and I talked over the phone several times and made sure we knew exactly where each other were.
Al was the nicest guy, and he arrived right when he said he would, and then proceded to turn my evo a 180*. The difference is night and day and it was simple and took only half an hour to complete. I got the fireball 2 mail in flash and the only mods i have are buschur full 3" exhaust, boost controller, and lancer shop filter. I am totally enjoying the car now and it even pulls like a mother with only 17 pounds of boost, and 20 pounds is just nasty!!
My 1/8th mile best time before was an 8.03 @89mph, and now with a good launch it should be in the 7's for sure.
Just for all of those of you waiting like i was, those who are not sure that you will be able to tell a difference, or what mod do i want to do next, just stop. Just do the flash! It is the best mod i have ever done. And it literally feels like a small shot of N20.

the big thing I noticed was the new found linearity of the power. I mean the car is still turbocharged / suffers a very slight bit from turbo lag. but wow, the difference is really night and day.

thanks for the flash today at AMS, i was the one with the rally red. anyways, after reading all the good things about the dynoflash on these pages, i decided to go with the base flash. my car is completely stock with only a k&n drop in filter, and boy was i suprised by the results. i have to say this is definitely a bargain for the power you gain. the car runs smooth and pulls all the way till redline. i am happy with how the car runs now, and am planning on future mods, so i hope to do business with you again.

 

How does getting flashed compare to getting the fuel re-mapped?

 

I got dynoflashed yesterday....well actually EXTREAMLY early this morning if you want to be exact. All I can say here is WOW...awesome. Al rocks!!! If you want something fun to read about it....ok it's friggin long....check this out....I coulnd't resist.

I HAVE HEARD THAT AL'S FLASHES ARE THE BEST AND I FINALLY GOT THE CHANCE TO TRY HIM OUT. WELL I HAVE GOT TO SAY HE KICKS ***!!! AFTER THE FLASH AND A FEW OTHER MODS WE ARE PULLING 405WHP, AND THE VEHICLE IS RUNNING SMOOTH. THE MITSUBISHI DEALER( who sells only the works products) WAS EVEN AMAZED. MY CUSTOMER IS VERY HAPPY. Big AL, You turned my Evo 8 into a God. I'm having so much fun I can't tell you. I had the good sense to listen to Big Al with modding recommendations and man was he right. Did the full turbo-back Perrin exhaust, HKS evc boost contoller, fuel pump, and Big Al's genuis street tuning. Went to SCCA event Saturday and people couldn't believe how friggn fast my car was. Thanks again Big Al, couldn't be happier.

 

Man, can you feel how happy number 8 is? You can feel it. And this guy had to wait until after 12 am for a custom tune.

 

Thanks guys ! bTW - I greatly prefer to tune late at night in the early am hours - less traffic to worry about - no one waiting to get tuned afterwards and really being in the groove usually after 5 - 8 tunes before all add up to ideal conditions

As Number 8 can verify that Perrin exhuast is prob the best on the market as far as fit, finish, quality and performance - it has a real good sound. Not as much power as the buschur - and not as light - but it suits me better as far as sound. On exhuasts its all personal prefernce on the sound - you have to listen and see which ones wuit your ear better. Buschur or perrin are my two favorites.

 

Yaah the fitting seems perfect, can hardly tell its not stock. Its a "work of art" like you said, and the sound is aural bliss. Also want to thank AMS for great installs.
