I tried this to fix my throttle hang issue, but now my car won't idle at all. I start it, it'll idle about 1800rpm for about 10 seconds, then drop down to about 1400 for a few seconds then to about 1000rpm for a little bit, then it drops down to about 300 and I have to give it gas. My oil temp gauge at the time said 67 degrees, so I imagine water temp wasn't too far from that. After I drive for a while it's fine. My ISCV initial step position AC off - neutral table was modified by a mail in flash (assuming for cams) which was when my throttle hang became noticeable/a pain in the ***. I changed that back to stock at the same time I did the stepper table mod. Since then I have changed the ISCV table back to what it was before with no luck, so I'm thinking it has something to do with the stepper table. Any ideas? Thanks.

so you only changed the 41deg column... which means your cold start shouldn't be affected..

Yes, that's what I thought. The only time it will maintain idle is if it's hot. Even if I run into the gas station real quick it won't idle after I come back. I've changed everything back to stock for now. . .it was nice not having the the throttle hang. I have the extra throttle control tables if that has any effect. I tried raising those, but it only changed the intial idle after start, but it still did everything else the same.

perhaps start a new thread and post your problem + what happened when you changed things..

perhaps this is masking another problem?

Why does the stock 05 Idle Stepper Look-up table have all the same values going across the x-axis? It makes the table kinda pointless....

i know this may be a bit redundant, and while I am learning more about this as knowledgeable people post up, can anyone say if the fix is in? EVO IX hangs like a mother when you drop a gear or let of any higher then 3-3500k... who has actually solved their issue and what year and ROM does your car have?
