were talking 10 or more tables where a diff and patch wouldn't take any thinking on my part. i would have to go through all the boost/timing/mivec/fuel tables etc just to figure out all the stuff Jestr changed for my flash.

Just use the pre-patched version 15 and load your tables into it. It takes maybe 5 minutes.

I just wanted to check in to say I successfully used 1.31 to change settings and load into my IX 15 with out errors or issue. the first flash took a long time due to the rom patch but all following flashes are quick and the knock flash works great.

Are you getting weird numbers in the x and y axis?

If you are getting weird numbers (with 1.31) its because your endian is messed up - go through your XML's and change all the "little" to "big".

I had looked at all the endian values and they were"big". I remember reading that some endian issues were corrected. no screwed up #s shown and changes made ok

faster on-demand XML parsing
add relative directory support in the options

switch to true kwp2000 protocol stack for Subarus
fix endian reversal in metadata parser - old metadata files are no longer compatible!

I can't seem to get the options after changing the xml file (88840016), putting the xml-text at the end of the xml file before </rom>. Restarted Ecuflash, and it is set to developer... Ecuflash version 1.32.

Getting confused.. I added the xml-text to the evo9base-file as well, and still didn't show up. Then I removed the folder with my backup of the original xml-files which was in the folder rommetadata\mitsubishi\evo, and then I got the options visible!

I actually had the same issue when trying to disable the rear O2 sensor. That's why I posted a question:
How does ECUflash use definition/xml-files?

check your ecuflash settings to see which metadata directory its pointing too - ie the main one not the backup
