PATCH: CEL Flash on Loaded Knock
I set it to point to the .../evo directory. And I stored the original definitions in .../evo/ORG. Moved the ORG folder to another place AND added the text to the base-file, then it worked. Kind of a mystery to me, so I would like to know how ecuflash uses the definitions (and now also how it selects the directories/definition files), see link in my previous post. But anyway, it seems to work (but haven't had the chance to try it in the car yet).

I wish mine would work.... It just keeps on flashing every time it reaches the preset knock count.... I tried 1.29 and 1.30. ( I didn't like 1.31, it changed the sorting order and put "Miscellaneous" tab on top, when i added 2byte load to it...) It's like it does not change "cel on knock flash time" from that huge amount that the patched rom comes with to whatever i put in there (2000ms). Oh well, at least i got a laptop with a huge knock gauge when i need to know if i get knock or not.

i have edited the xml and copied the patched rom for the cel flash. my ? is once i order the jdm map sensor all i have to do is edit the xml file or am i missing something? i read the rom flashing thread but that didn't help.
As long as you added the extra stuff in the xml in your xx rom ID and then DL the patched rom and switched all your stuff over to that rom the cel knock flash will work. When you get your jdm map just add the formula in the xml of the patched rom you are using
Say I have this modded ROM, and I go to a tuner, to tune my car. He pulls my map, but does not have the XML definitions in his ECUFlash. He D/L my map, makes changes uploads it back up. Any chance something can get messed up? Will this MOD still work?
94170015 is working on my car. I was stuck for a little while because I had an old version and the immobilizer was not able to be seen. Seached the forum and then realized I had a version over 1 year old. After updating and re-doing everything it worked and did not blink at start-up like mentioned in the past. Good luck to everyone.
