You only need one or the other. Either you use the tactrix solenoid and NO pill, or you use the stock solenoid and a modified boost pill (like GSTs).

PM me for more help

X map sensor is available from any dealer. Mitsubishiparts (evoM vendor) also stocks them.

If you're gonna waste the time tuning your setup via the ECU...do it once and be done with it.

lol, I guess what I meant was....why bother going thru all of that dialing in once, then want to start all over with a 3 port down the road.

Will this mod work in conjunction with the alt maps or strictly with the "normal" map? Just wondering if you could have 2 boost control settings, one for each map.

With v7 you have altmaps for boost control.

I'm running 5.10 on 88590015. I don't think v7 is complete for my rom yet. I take that this would work only for the normal map then and not the alt map in my situation.

ill address this:

i used the upgraded gst boost pill instead of the gm 3 port because i didnt want to splice or solder anything.

this is the reason im looking forward to real testing on the grimmspeed solenoid

on the normal map direct works as in the thread (psi based).

in the alt map (Tephra V5.10) it is the same WGDC tables as before and still works the same as previous. so no probelms caused by it.

the 3 port is simple the best, u can mount it wherever and the pigtail part of it looks neat, u dont need to splice or solder anything, its basically changing boost lines and the three port.

its worth it!

the gm 3 port is not plug and play. you have to have to cut off the stock solenoid, and wire the gm in.

that is not something i want to do...sorry
