how-to: ECU-based direct boost control
thats not the almighty GM 3 port though. thats the pierburg 3 port, and i know that thats plug and play
i know bryan @ gst said that although the GM is the best, the pierburg seem to work ok.
and the grimmspeed is too new to know right now

I understand your desire not to cut the factory wiring. The plug can be found in junk yards. I believe its on some DSM air con plugs in the engine compartment. There is a thread somewhere in this forum. It would be great if someone could find a source for new plugs with leads.
Like lan evo said, it take 5 mins, and you can still go back to stock in 5 mins.
To own an Evo, while claiming to want to keep things factory....well...they don't seem to go together too much lol.
Unless he has the urge to repeatedly switch back and forth between the stocker and the GM. God knows we all like to switch back and forth at least a few times a day

No but really, I think its funny people will own a EVO and not be afraid to put in cams or a bigger turbo, but cutting two wires, oh NO.

besides, in about 20k miles, i wont mind cutting wires and hacking stuff together, but until that happens, ill stick to plug and play options as much as i can
ANd if you gonna do it in 20K miles, whats the difference if you do it now??
