That map looks pretty good to me Ramonski. What does your load curve look like?

That's a lot of load for just a 9 turbo. If you scaled down you would have more resolution in crucial areas and might even be able to run more timing.

And your car is taking this timing on 98RON ?
That is a lot of timing both peak load and up the top.

Without knowing exactly what loads you are hitting when loging with evoscan its hard to say exactly how much timing you are running but I know that fp white can hit 320ish load at 3750 on non mivec 2.0l. So looking at those columns and timing you are at around...6-4* at this point and I also know that fp white in 1 particular car wouldnt take more then 11* at 260-270 load at 7000 and you are running 18-16*?
Best is to see your log but that timing to me is really high for 98 octane which relates to 92-93 US

Injectors are fine... evoscan will read to about 115% before the injectors are at a true 100%...

I completely agree with jdm-vr4. Timing seems too high if it hits these loads. BiggyVIII you run suprinsingly a lot of timing on your map with Russia 93 but I don't think others will get as high on US 93 octane. You run something very uncommon.

Lancer_Evo_8, your knock could be timing related, as it is overly agressive. Try raising timing smoothly to 13-14* by 7000RPM and see if that solve knock. And try to run a flatter AFR. There is no need to run 10.7 at redline.

hey guys I've read and learned a lot on this forum and thread. I would like to share my progress with my evo turbo setup on my eclipse.
00 eclipse rs.
4g64 block with sohc. stock motor
evo8 turbo 9.5 (boost set at 12psi for now.)
3" TBE
stock evo8 intake pipe.
2.5" UICP & LICP
1g crushed BOV
evo8 injectors and fpr
walbro 255 pump
hallman MBC
aem wideband

so its kinda like a stock evo8 turbo setup.

here's my most recent maps
peak load is 289 at 4250rpm... kind of high??
at 6250 is at 220 load.
let me know what you guys think.

I agree about US 93, but Lancer_Evo_8 is from Switzerland. I believe european BP Ron98 is about the same as we have here in Russia.

Anyway 6500+ RPM seem to be too high to me. But if it doesnt knock, I can only envy that... )

350 is the maximum load in your map.

What maximum "Load 1Byte" or "LoadMUT2Byte" do you see during the run? Could not see that in your log. You should log it.

Here is the map of Evo8 2.0 CR9 + Kelford 272 + lots of supporting mods + CBRD BBK Full ported. The car runs 25psi tapering to 23 at redline, making 470hp 530nm. BP RON98 pump gas. No knock at all. Road racing tune.

It is wierd, but peak load at this level of boost is 240. I traced it and marked the cells so you could see what timing does it run.
