We use heet also because it's so convenient to carry. When you mix it yourself, remember that because of weight difference, you need to use 60% volume of meth to actually have a true 50/50. We use 101 +water/meth on the street. Thanks.

I ran the same exact tune as I did on the dyno. I have logs of the runs but outside of needing to run it to 8k rpm in 4th gear they aren't any different than my normal logs. I'm sure there is room for more timing up top but this is a race gas lapping day map. I was completely out of gear in 4th anyway so it didn't pay to dick with the tune.

I need to install my twin disk and have someone toss in the EVO 8 4th gear because I didn't feel good about running to 8k.

I'm currently out of injector, out of boost, and out of RPM!

I use less water, but it calculates to 20% water volume is about 24.x % by weight, so 40% water would be about 49% by weight.

My MR has trapped 115, in 4th, bouncing off a 7800 limiter, with 330whp on a Mustang dyno. So his '350'whp on his charts sounds about right. 400, no. On a dynojet, maybe close.

Mine weighs 3280 without me. Roll bar, 18's, etc for the run.

Agreed, 350whp sounds about right. My MR traps 114 with 335whp on a dynomite (reads between a MD and DJ), this is weighing probably 100lbs lighter then stock I would guess (no spare, no backseat, no spoiler, but front doors are dynomatted, 1/2 tank)

Why not shift to 5th?

Just get some tires with taller sidewall? That can at least give you another 200 rpm you need.

I tried shifting into 5th and it killed the run. There's just no way to bang 5th gear and make it worth it.

These runs were made on snow tires so the stock clutch was fine. At a recent autox I ran my NT01 tires the stock clutch couldn't put the power to the ground. I have an exedy twin in my possession. When I do the clutch I'm thinking about sending the tranny in for the EVO8 3/4 gears. Not specifically for drag racing either.... almost every lapping day I attend I hit 120mph and don't like shifting into and out of 5th gear. This car is an open track ****.

Maybe in DLL dyno land it's 400whp.

245/45/17 tires gave me about 200 more RPM in the 1/8th compared to the stock tires. I was kinda joking about shifting it would steal at least 0.2 seconds for sure.

But do the math with the tires and you will be surprised
