Accuracy of NarrowBandO2
Accuracy of NarrowBandO2
Alright, not looking for a debate here
But seeking feedback......
First, I don't have a WBO2 and purely relying on my stock NBO2.
I begin looking at some of my logs and noticed that the O2 readings are surprisingly "accurate" !
I've heard all the comments that it reads 0-1V, and it don't read anything accurately before/after stoich of 14.7.
However, when I look at my AFR readout, it is surprisingly "accurate" showing the right numbers at the right place. Unfortunately, I don't have a WBO2 to compare against, but first glance, I thought it looks right.

An NBO2 sensor reading will vary with temperature, and the resolution is not sufficient to precisely tune AFR. Its possible to know that the AFR within 1 pt, but that's about it.
I've seen .89 on the narrowband with a swing of 10.9 to 12.1 AFR.
