Patch: Force OBD Inspection Pass (acamus, mrfred)
I can say 100% that this is the correct settings that will get you to pass emissions in at least Washington State...I went through last week with everything to force pass and failed with to many saying ready. Changed my setting to the above settings and passed this morning with no problems

I'll be going to get inspected in MA. I have SD. But I have the stock ecu. Car was tuned by a shop. Car makes about 370 whp dynojet. Do I have to do anything to get it to pass? There's no tailpipe sniffer here. Just obd2 connecting.
you're good unless they do some nasty visual check
Just out of curiosity why in Golden's definition for 59580004 are both the Monitor Available and Passed both labeled as "Read only, Do NOT Change"? I see that in the rest of this thread it's not labeled as that? Also there is no Non-Continuous Availability patch for my rom
Edit: Whopps, thought this was the Evo X section, but my question might still apply

i heard a rumor that in NEW JERSEY the machine they plug into your car can now tell if the readyness codes have been tampered with. the machine can clear the ECU and see if the ready codes automatically show as being running/read or not.
true???? false????
true???? false????
Some more info.
I recently smogged my Evo 8 here in Califonia. E85, 272/280 cams, FMIC, FPgreen, 1kcc injectors, etc. Used the settings in this post: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...l#post11095091. All I did for sniffer testing was put the cat back on and it passed smog with flying colors:

does this patch work for Evo 10's? I failed the OBDII test but passed everything else. I need Help! My Tags are expiring by the end of this month and this is the only thing that's holding everything up.

Yes it's happening in california as we speak.
Should the periphery bits be set to stock if I'm using the above settings for monitors available and monitors pass?
What if I have a check engine light on? obd check could pass but check engine light means instant fail right?

supposedly as of Jan 1, 2014. i have yet to find a single station doing so. it would be awesome for us Evo owners. maybe not so great for any other enthusiast LOL.
