EvoScan and WHP

Do you have the defualt settings when you use the WHP and TQ estimates? I can't get mine to work for some reason.

You would be much better off using https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ec...simulator.html

it should work... You will need to have the correct order of the parameters to get the calculation to work properly... You can tell by looking at the formulas... If one formula refers to another parameter, then, that parameter, that has been referred to has to be above the original parameter! Hope that makes sense...

ex. "G/Rev" looks up "2ByteLoad" in the formula, so you know you need to have
"2ByteLoad" on top of G/Rev.

So basically it would go in this order to get the HP/TQ calculations to work:
2byteload
g/rev
est. (somethin, dont remember) not infront of the laptop...
Horsepower
TQ

estimated lbs/min.

When I wrote those calculations based off of Eric's math it didnt take into account anything other than airflow through the MAF. If you are on a fuel that allows alot of timing at a given boost level, bigger turbo than stock, etc. I would go with the advice and use the virtual dyno since it uses transient acceleration.

The dyno graphing in evoscan is off on the rpm's by around 800-1000, and the vehicle contents weight doesn't work so you have to add in your weight to the vehicle weight. The excel dyno graphing listed above is better, plus you can get a nicer, bigger graph with it.

So I tried this again today (for some reason i cant figure out VD and for logging on the go, I would really like to use evoscan). I'm running a stock turbo and if I calculate the formulas using a calculator, my whp is pretty close to what it should be. So why doesn't it log to the spreadsheet

At 5062.5 RPMs my g/rev is 2.753684211 (load =261.6/95), but Lbs/min and everything else is 0.

For Lbs/min i'm using([gRev]*[rpm])/454. So 2.753684211 x 5062.5 = 13940.5
Then 13940.5/454 = 30.7

But my Lbs/min column still reads 0

any help would be great.

Hmmmm...... looking at this again, I think I figured it out. I'm using request ID 21 for lbs/min, I THINK I should have CALC in there. Kinda late to try it out now, but if anyone is interested, I can post my results tomorrow.

Finally figured it out

I only had 1 pull from yesterday 2k rpms through only 5k rpms and the TQ numbers were DEAD on with AMS dyno.

My HP numbers were a bit short probably because I stopped at 5k.
