Have a setup question.

I used this software on my logs from the dyno and was all over the place vs my dyno sheets but more importantly the RPM was off 1500 rpm and the torque was off as well. I mean where the peaks were didnt match up. We used it my last tune trip and if nothing else I could get quantifiable changes (improvements in tune, boost level, etc.) so I really liked that.

I have also noticed it is highly dependent on size and sample rate of the datalog.

Not hating, trying to figure out what I might not have going right.

thanks

Power is correct numerically but low about 1500rpm. Torque is high 100 ft lbs but about the right rpm.

PM me for 1.0.7 beta. It has a major fix that leads to more accurate graphs.

Thanks for posting too.

Keep in mind that the beta will not have all the fixes that the final release will have.

Would be nice if it had also function to import straight Autronic CSV files and to manually import car data somehow.

what is autronic and what do you mean MANUALLY import car data? Just needing some clarification so I understand.

I wont be adding any new features until after v7 releases. I am making some minor changes due to beta testers findings but very minor and I am very close to releasing 7.

Autronic is standalone ecu but I think it's not so popular in USA. Here is link to one of my csv file exported from Autronic SM4 pc-software. I have been using the excel version of VDR but it would be really nice if I could use this standalone version.

Importing car data I meant that it would be nice to import parameters in the software like it is possible to do in the excel version, like my Ford Escort Cosworth paremeters. But I'm not sure if this is already possible?

As far as I know, all logs have those information and it's always two header lines.

The two header lines throws a monkey wrench in the mix. This will have to atleast wait till after v7 is released.

JB, am I understanding correctly that you did the pull on the dyno and then ran it through VD? that's not going to work because the dyno doesn't properly simulate real load conditions and completely takes out some variables such as drag coefficient etc... Do a pull on the street with vd, then get on the dyno and compare the street log in vd to your real dj graph
