Virtual Dyno - Standalone Software
did another pull with more boost, as you can see the stock exhaust/intercooler are a HUGE bottleneck right now. soon as my piping comes in i have a 24x12x3 vibrant core to put on and building a 3.5" aluminum exhaust
I just download the new verison and keeo getting E101 Not all columns for calculations found .I have deleted it and redownloaded it 4 times from hills page and 2 times from mellons page and still get the same error
do you have the latest framework installed on your computer? I believe Brads program is created in visual studio .NET
I like this program, but I have found that btwn the old version and new version my graphs are different. I happened to take a screen shot of a graph showing the difference btwn meth/no meth. When I put this into the new program my graph takes a dive at about 6600 rpm. I used the same file logs. For both the old and new versions. This only happens on the new program.
Does anyone have the older version still. This drop off is very annoying to me. At first I thought that I was suddenly down on power but I think it is simply the new "averaging" that the program does. I did not get it on the old version with the same file logs as the new. I also do not get it on Dynovision or Virtual Dyno Simulator as well.
Has anyone else noticed this? I know that the afr looks different at 3600-4600 but I think that it is due to the averaging again. These pics are of the same datalogs. I know that others must have noticed the same thing.
Normal old version

New version with the fall off

This is the Dynovision from the same runs

Here is the VDR 5.1

BTW, I help Brad with the development of VD.
Also, try doing a log till about 7600 (stock redline), then plot it. On some runs, the power calculation gets screwy at the end of the logs.

I have added pics of the other Dyno simulators.
I will make a run out to 7800 when I get back into town on wensday to see how it reponds. I will also post the other Dyno simulators results. I will also post up pics of other run files showing the same drop. I like the program and have made a donation in the past but simply wish for the old version.

the problem I keep having is that I'm not allowed to change anything. it let me create one profile, but won't let me create anymore. it also won't let me change to a mustang dyno correction factor. i just get error messages.
ODUB open the program in administrator mode and it will let you edit those settings.
right click exe > goto properties > compatibility tab > check Run this program as an administrator.
