it works fine, i just have to close out 3-4 pop-ups when i load logs and close the program.
I have the same problem as well exactly. I have only 1 user as well and have also went in and removed all the stupid permission annoyances with windows 7 but still get those errors.

the error is not just annoying, it'll prevent you from updating any setting that you may have changed when using the dyno application.
even you signed in windows as an admin privilege user, you still need to specify that you want the program to run in the administator context due to Vista an Windows 7 tightly security. There're ways to relax that by configurating the installation file or manually update windows settings for the dyno program as mentioned in my previous post.

I figured the problem out for me at least. I had to go to the program and right click on it
then go to properties
then go to security and chose my specific pc name not just the one that has me and admin included and give my computer name full security rights.

Doing this I now am able to save profiles and can close the program with no errors. I could not do it before even opening as an admin. and I used to get 3 errors on close and 6 for attempting to make a profile. Win 7

I KNOW its a permission issue. I have installed it on every machine in my house and my parents machines just to test it out and it just works. Check your permissions on the installed directory. Try what mt057 says and see if that works if you are getting these errors. Those errors only happen when you can NOT write the xml files to the install directory. The only thing that will cause that to fail is a System.Security.SecurityException.

Brad you seriously designed the best virtual dyno program I think ive ever used.. it really cant get any better. Im glad I donated to you and ask if everyone else that uses this program to donate as well, because he put a lot of coding time into this program to make it what it is today. Without this program my car would not have no where near the power it has or had because it would be like tuning in the dark. Your program basically does what a $75,000 dyno does.

tscompusa: I teared up a little after reading that. Thanks for the praise. I disagree with you on one point. It can be made better. I will strive always to look at it that way. I am working on getting the installer built in Nullsoft's installer and hopefully that will help people with install issues.

I hope it continues to help everyone in the community out. I dont do it for the donations but they do help with hardware to support this project and keep me motivated. I would have starved to death long ago if I depended on the donations

Is anyone still having issues installing? I am just wondering if all the security problems had been resolved. If not I have a new installer built using Nullsofts installer. Just let me know and I can tell you where to download it.
