I probably should have asked this a while back.... Where did you get this table from? I'm trying to find something similar for the earlier years.

Thanks! Looking through it they don't seem to have anything for the 2003-2004 as far as applications. 2005 shows an application, but it isn't found when you try clicking on it.

https://iaspub.epa.gov/otaqpub/displ...id=9510&flag=1

2006 seems to be the oldest model they actually have the "ECM" data on (Page 112)

Isn't that because the 2006 is the only car that has an ecu that's shows all the info? I'm under the impression they are only flagging IXs right now.

I think the info we have is that it was in 2005 that OEMs were required to start providing this information. I don't know if any 05's or older have been flagged for "ECU Tampering" yet though.

This should be the correct link for the 2005 Info pg. 123

So I have failed to locate any EPA application docs for the 2003-2004 MY, does anyone know what the stock 94170015 rom CVN should be? I tried using the mitsubishi J2534 software to flash it onto a spare ECU but also failed with errors.

Does anybody know if getting your ACD tuned changes the Cal ID or will get you flagged? I wouldn't think so but I don't want to assume incorrectly on this. Never can tell what the CARB ***** are looking into now days and they do stupid things like making it illegal to swap transmissions in Cali (6sp to 5sp or vice versa).

It's a separate ecu, so should be fine, but who knows, these days?

No, it's completely separate from the ECU. Even if it wasn't, I don't believe it's even regulated by CARB.

Yea I am about to load in the stock 2005 rom too. I had to change the immobilizer code and hex to match my previous tuned rom. Based on the info here this should change the CAL ID but I think I can get it reflashed at the stealership through the recall.

Am I missing something? 2005 and 2006 ECUs log the VIN number so is there another difference between the years?
