No matter how you cut it, those numbers are not realistic for the vast majority of owners, there's more efficient turbos for goals of 500+ designed to do just that.

The EF2 is not larger than the 71HTA Green, in fact if I am to believe that "71" is the exducer measurement then the EF2 comp wheel is 2mm smaller. On E85 the EF2 is capable of 500whp with the right combination of parts, but that is at its limits. I comfortably ran my Evo X EF2 at 470whp Dynojet on a daily basis for quite some time.

498 WHP is the highest EF2 and that was on an Evo X. the EF2 seems closer to the BBK Full. when comparing turbos with upgraded turbine wheels....

the Green is 73 exducer...so are you saying the EF2 has a 71MM or a 69MM exducer?

Curt Brown did 600 whp on a DJ, but nevertheless, I got a bit carried away in the whp numbers. I can find five Evos with HTA Greens that have done 520-530 whp - Lucas English, Liqquid, MRevo916, drb, and jwdp54. Yes, its kill mode or close to it, but that's what everyone shows unless they are worried about exploding stock internals. Anyhow, this is an EF thread...

Agreed I just have to bust your ***** once and a while I knew the ef2 would do 500 but don't know much about them being I do not run one.

I run a JMF 3" intake w/maf and perrin filter. I believe you have to run a 3.25" to 3" coupler on the anti-surge housing (I think the housing is a tad bigger than 3")

Cool, thanks for the feedback.

I'm curious about the turbo inlet size - the MAP website says it is a 3" anti-surge inlet. If it was a true 3" OD, then the JMF intake should work without a 3.25" coupler. However, if the anti-surge housing is 3.25", then you could run the FP 84mm intake and not need the 3.25" coupler.

I am almost 100% positive it is a tad bigger than 3". Maybe Chris from MAP can chime in.

To the best of my knowledge a 3" coupler will work for the compressor inlet.

Is there a particular intake you recommend for the 3" anti-surge housing? Will the FP 84mm intake work with the 3" anti-surge cover on the EF3?

Ordered my EF3 today.
