car looks sick!
Thanks all.

It's a 57mm PWR. The neck was removed a straight connection was welded on. Also the radiator mounts were moved to allowed for the turbo to fit. Even then its a tight fit.

I see you modified the radiator "neck"... When you say "radiator mounts" are you reffering to the radiator mounts on the vehicle itself right? Could you PLEASE be so KIND to post more pictures of your "radiator mod" so the turbo kit could fit?

I ordered the exact same turbo kit and I want to see what kind of modifications I have to go thru! Please help me out buddy! lol!

Thanks in advance!

Here is a pic of my Evo!

Great DSPORT feature on this car... I think this is one of the best personally owned (non-shop/race team) Evo's out there. The suspension mods are amazing, and the motor/turbo setup kick ***. It's going to take a talented driver to handle this thing on a road course though.

I don't have any specific pictures for that sorry. Maybe when i get to the shop I'll take some more but it will be a few weeks. I know CBRD has some slim ones that may save you a lot of trouble. I also think Fullrace is comming out with a new kit that uses an EVO 6 radiator.

You think that CBRD rad will perform the same as a Thick Koyo rad? I was looking at it the other day at their website...looks very nice!

Full-Race is in the middle of moving locations. Their move is almost done and their server won't be online until Monday. They'll be back on Monday when their phone lines are working and they'll take care of you.

Hey real quick note we had our phone lines switched to our new location today but it took all day so the phones were spotty. Monday we will be back at it

I would always recommend a rad thickness of less than 50mm - it gives way more space for turbo components and you dont gain any cooling with the extra width especially with a fmic in front and electric fan. Anyone near nj come check us out next weekend and mitsubishi owners day!

Holy crap, I cannot believe with as much time as I spend on this site I missed this thread. haha Now I see where all the dyno stuff and comments from Mike W. came from in the other thread!

Anyway, thank you very-very much for running so many of our parts. I truly appreciate it and it's great to see how well everything is working out.

I will pay for the Dynojet time, please send me a PM with your paypal address and I will send the money to you to go to any local AWD Dynojet. All I ask is you leave the tune same and set the boost at the same 29-30 psi you had on the Dynapak. Please do the pulls on the Dynojet starting at the same RPM and ending at the same RPM also, be sure to do them in 3rd gear.

I'll throw you some extra gas money too, just let me know what the dyno time and fuel to get there will cost you and send me the PM.

Congrats to you, it's a killer combination and thanks again!!

I assumed the car was done, in his possession and untouched since the Dynapak testing.....you know what they say about ASSuming.

David

Send me some tshirts or if your really like me *cough* cams *cough* and we'll get it taken care of

But seriously, its already at RRE... throw it up their dyno take some quick numbers... and off to the DJ. I'll get some dyno time at Tunning Tech and call it a day. I can feel like king solomon and settle this great debate.. (Perhaps the biblical reference is a bit strong;however, you get my point lol)
