I've got some short film of it on the dyno, unfortunatly, it is from the earlier lower power pulls.

I can post it if 1) I get the owners permission and 2) someone can host it.

EDIT: now that I think about it, my vid is pointless. Wait till someone gets it on tape going down the track.

It seems like this car has taken forever to be put together, now it all seems worth it, 10's without insane spool up issues, sign me up, minus the price tag.

I agree. It's taken awhile but after driving it last night it's been worth the wait. The engineering that's gone into this system has been insane. Kudos to Bert Arano from Union 7! The car has never been run hard before and I've never driven it but was able to hit back to back 10's without a single driveability issue. That's impressive engineering and tuning! Twin charging has been done before but never with the intent to make big HP.

I can't explain how hard this car pulls from from the start whether on the track or road. It does not feel like a typical big turbo 4 banger. The power curve is amazing as you'll see when I post dyno sheets. Hopefully we'll see another 100+ whp after Thursday's dyno session.

everyone local , i'm doing the post-abuse inspection now, in the next few days there is the possibility that i can take you for a spin, and maybe we will drag it again soon, depending on the dyno session tomorrow etc

i'll let you know

I don't like your attitude

When does this thing leave West Chester for greener pastures in CO? Are you around Friday - love to see the car again (go for a ride - sorry Mr. Egan)?

We need to talk about my Ohlins and Cornerweighting & Balancing??

The dyno appt is canceled for tomorrow. We're going to change the rod bearings and do some minor maintanence work as a precaution before we finish the tuning.

The car should be in Denver sometime in April.

Nice car!! I was the guy in the lanes right next to you with the MR.. I took some pics of your car I will post up when I get home from work. Like I said before, your car is VERY unique..Nice to meet you.

We were only able to crank the boost up to about 32-33 psi before this happened. Even though I was dissapointed we decided to go to Atco on Tuesday night just to have some fun.

I've never driven this car before except for about 5 minutes on the street. We were running 18" wheels with street tires. Full interior, etc., etc. We were also only making about 32-33 psi of boost (roughly 620+whp). This car has never been driven on the track before with this setup. Here are the results:

1st run:
I was trying to figure out the launch and bogged badly. High rpms are not needed on launch because of the supercharger.

60' 1.909
330' 5.102
1/8 7.633
MPH 98.32
1000' 9.784
1/4 11.543
MPH 128.90

2nd run: The launch control was set for 5,000 rpms and I slipped the clutch.

60' 1.662
330 4.651
1/8 7.105
MPH 99.11
1000' 9.18
1/4 10.909
MPH 128.35

3rd run: Another good one.

60' 1.674
330 4.67
1/8 7.117
MPH 99.4
1000 9.203
1/4 10.945
MPH 129.69

It turned out to be a really fun night. Two back to back 10.9 second passes on a car that I've never driven with a tune that isn't even close to its potential.

The amazing part is the fact that we didn't have one single problem. The car ran flawlessly. The power curve is incredible and the car is so easy to drive.

On Thursday we're hitting the Mustang dyno at AWE. Hopefully we'll finally finish tuning and hit boost levels of 42+psi. There is no doubt in my mind after driving this car that we'll see 750+whp and a 9 second run.

This is a fantabolous project. Read the whole thread in one gulp. Very well done!!!

I'm also bulding a twincharged setup on my 1.6 Honda (not all Honda owners are narrowminded idiots), though on a VERY limited budget. At the moment car is supercharged with a 1.3 liter Opcon SC, engine is built, am now hoping to get my hands on a cheapish T04E or T04B which should take it t 400 hp, maybe more.

In the last year and a half I've read everything I could find about twincharged engines, talked to people who have done it, and I'm absolutely itching to know whether your valve system is fully pneumatic or if it uses actuators of some sort. And if it uses actuators, what kind...

For my setup, I'd love to do a fully pneumatic system (air pressure difference and vacuum alone will open and close the valve-no controllers to worry about, very smooth transition from turbo to sc, ease of tuning); I've yet to find the right valve though. Not easy to find, and may have to be custom made.
Or else, if actuators it needs be, I would do it through the Ecu as variables f rpm and boost, again for smothness of operation.

If you care to share any part of your valve system, any hint that'll help me figure out a solution, I would be so very grateful.
