I would think the easiest way to quell any speculation about the claimed 441 whp would be to run the car from the video at the race track and get a time slip to back up the whp claims. Seeing as there is a drag track within a half hour of the shop where the video was taken it would seem like an easy task.

about the torque hp question, is there a way to tune for higher torque like the dyno sheet in this thread, or do some car just have it and some don't

Every car is different. Most of my dyno sheets show a higher tq than whp figure that has to do with the way the dyno loads, boost levels and ignition timing.

Not to throw a wrench in this thread, because i like the kind words between the 2 big flash vendors.....BUT

im not sure if i don't feel like a dyno tune by dynoflash on this turbo might be a little bias. not saying it will be 100% purposefully, but maybe Al doesn't really want this turbo to succeed due to Dave bringing out a very similar turbo. Im not knocking anyone, Al or Dave, but business is business....and its cut-throat in most cases.

not to cause problems, but i think dynos from other tuners would carry more merit! not because dynoflash can't tune, because he has proven he can....but just because of the known relationship between al and dave.

Can't wait to see some results!! I really don't know who the unbias tuners will be, LOL.

I'm sure that is what the plan is when he gets his work done, remmember he, Tym is still working on BIG3_ETR's 800 hp monster street car, and he likes to do everything himself...a bit of a perfectionist, but I appreciate this!

I don't think buisiness is thta cut throat for faulty board posting/tuning, remember we are talking about the best, and most repected people in the entire evo biz world: Tym Switzer, Al Friedman, AMS, Shiv, Turbo trix, and David...these guys I would hope are beyond that old school, cut throat, black ball shiz...jm2cents

I don't care if a vendor bash a product or don't like a product. Results is what counts and will be the determing factor to stop me from buying it . Sorry but so far I've not seen the results I was hoping to see. Maybe and I hope this will change.

Not at all, I just know him as a friend and my builder, and he is one of the most hard working people on this planet! His vid was posted to show and get the evo community buzzing on this new turbo, and show his hard work off...trust me if Tym did not think it would make more power, he would not have invested his time, money, energy, and patience on this WR buzz and altering dyno figures is just not Tym.

Hey Tyms results are fantastic as you have seen...this would be the high end of potential for this turbo(maybe more with cams)....everything else is will follow in order. Will we see some bunk a$$ tunes with poor combo's with this turbo?Yes..Will we see some tuners such as Al, Shiv, Tym, tune the shiz out of this turbo?Yes Will we get driveway installs of this turbo that get poor results?Yes. Just ask Fast Frank about his WR and how his combo is very similiar to manofaiths(FF has WR, manofaith has stock turbo, they both have ssimiliar supporting mods.) as to the out come of there race, and I would say manofaith is a better driver than Fast Frank.

To your point, i am probably the most unbiased / flash tuner out there. I dont have a turbo to promote, and buschur and myself def dont see eye to eye. If i saw pages of dyno sheets with great results on this turbo i'd say ok, maybe im wrong. I've done 5 cars already, prob the most out of any other tuner. With the exception of 1.. i didnt see a significant gain. They are claiming 370whp WITHOUT cams. Thats alot ..., esp on a turbo that is supposed to spool like stock. So where are the dyno sheets ? I really wanted to believe i was wrong , and maybe something was wrong with the car i had on the dyno, but you have to ask yourself, if you paid 1500 dollars , had a top tuner tune your car for two days trying everything under the sun, diff gas , timing , fuel ...ect. and you come up with 310whp at the end of the day.. what do you do. I cant for the life of me see that turbo make 370 whp on pump gas , stock computer , no cams ... sorry...

Everyone is still searching for that magical turbo that spools at 2500 rpms and makes 500whp .. It doesnt exist !!! its give and take

Well put, and Tym did state his mods to the car including aem ems, race gas etc....so it is what it is and maybe this turbo requires race fuel, standalone to reach its potential...like any other aftermaket turbo upgrade. But $1500 dollars to run the numbers you have posted and not to mention the potential for more power with a few perscribed additions is all that I am saying.
