More precise info after getting dyno sheet:

baseline tbe:

211.7whp @ 5750 rpm
232.8wtq @3750 rpm

dyno tuned tbe:

289.5whp @ 6000rpm
310.3wtq @ 4000rpm

damn baseline numbers sucked so bad =/

Brian aka Razorlab explained it best probably:

"Ok. I think I see the problem here now that I have had a full night sleep. You had a TBE on the car untuned for the baseline run right? The IX's actually lose power most of the time from doing this. Usually the IX sees the increased airflow because of the increase flow of the exhaust and lowers boost among other things."

Well guys, i just got home from Buschur racing...

My very first pull un-tune:
306 AWHP and 308lb (dan knows i didnt know how much boost i was pushin)

Next pull boost turned down:
290/300

Final pull with 104/93 octane mix (about 3 gallons each)
325/330

Said my IX felt very strong... Got video footage/graphs to be uploaded tomorrow sometime..

Wish he printed me all my graphs, just got 2 of my 4 total pulls.

Mods as follows:
manifold
02 housing
TBE
MBC
air filter

Nick claims it wouldve been somewhere around 370 to 380 AWHP if i were on a dyno jet... Im planning on getting a Dyno run somewhere just for bragging rights if ya know what i mean..

I had my IX tuned yesterday. The tuner dynotuned the car, using ecuflash on 'Dynodynamics'. Mods are; TBE (no cat), airfilter. It made 280wtq & 270whp @ 21psi on 93oct after the tune. Stock IX's baseline at 210~215whp with 205wtq on this particular dyno. I will post the dynosheets including afr & boost graphs soon. The car is noticeably faster and strong in all 'rpm' ranges after the tune.

He has a few mods though... manifold, 02 and race gas! Pump would probably be a few lower.

Thats about 370whp on a dynojet which is the norm for a stg.1 IX on race gas. His car seems to be just a little bit stronger than others because his runs were done at about 97 octane rather than 100 or 104

Thats what Al told me also... It wasnt straight 104 octane, it was about 2.5 gallons added to almost half tank that was already there...

There wasnt even a seperate map made, just upped the boost..

Dyno'd at Rad Motorsports (RMS) in Hawaii... dyno is a AWD Dynojet, correction is SAE.

Mods are in sig.

First run was 306 awhp and 304 awtq... boost line popped off where they tapped in for the MAP reading at 19psi.

Second run was 335/320. MAP sensor read 25psi (Autometer read just over 23psi...). Encountered knock up high (8 counts at one point).

Third run... turned down boost and put down 336/321. Hit 24.4psi and had at most 2 counts of knock. Also, for all the runs, my A/F below 5500 was around 10:1. After that, it was around 11.5:1 (this was read at the tailpipe)... time to fine tune my flash.
