fpevo green dyno numbers
scaling is off, due to the fact that I was using the OBDII for logging in Evoscan, so he had to use rollers/rpm which for some reason didn't show crossover at 5252. Anyway, quick comment: Little hitch just before peak torque was corrected. Ignition map had a 'hole' between two cells which dropped 2 degrees at that point. Corrected, but didn't dyno again.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't you still have driveability issues whether on a stand alone or not with some of these BOV's?
(not including idle, stalling, etc..)
Example:
My car drove like crap with the HKS ssq (surging, flutter, etc..) while on the flash and with the EMS. (I put it on once to scare small children)
My car drove well with the Forge RS on a flash and it still drives well on the EMS.

There is no performance advantage to venting air - its purely a sound issue
in fact re-circulating the air can help spool the turbo slightly faster by pushing air into the inlet hose
A recirc bov is a must for those who want a good running MAF equiped car
Al

Here is the same car today on our dyno with same boost levels
Run #1 - same tune and boost as above
Run # 8 is with more fuel, less timing and less MIVEC one psi lower (to reduce knock counts) and the car made slightly more power even though the car was de-tuned (peak TQ at spool up is slightly higher on run # 1 due to higher peak boost)
Final run is race gas mix with pump gas 25 psi peak - slightly leaner
A great car considering it still has the stock upper fmic pipe
With a AEM stand alone and alky the Evo Green is a nice 10 second 125 mph and up turbo

Kindest regards

PS - how is your beast - any track trips recently ?>
My monster did 156 mph last week !
They get better results for THEIR reading, but sucks if you want to log too. Al, YOU ARE INCREDIBLE. You're help to me has become my base knowledge and I hope I live up to your training. Mi casa est su casa. (I think I said it right). Tony's tune has really responded to the changes, and especially the new DV. Now, we're actually getting the boost out of it. Congratulations on your time/mph. The obvious is that right on top of the WORLD with your times and speed speak volumes to the parts and tune. Like I said, you're incredible. Thanks for the help.
That's also why I now have 135 logfiles, just since April 4th. I try to get good results on the roadtune, then fine tune things like MIVEC and minor timing changes on the dyno, then it's back to the road for the final checking.
OKIX, awesome numbers!
Was the 121mph trap in your sig on the stock IX turbo with alky? how much boost?
Will be interesting to see your new traps with your current mods...

Thanks! The 121mph trap was with my 20GLT turbo on 101 and water/meth. and at the time, my stock diverter valve was only allowing me to peak at about 28lbs.
So what have you changed to put down your new dyno numbers?
Was it just the addition of the Forge RS DV and upping the boost?
You are correct we added the DV. But, this is just allowing us to tune to the small increase in boost which the DV is now holding. Funny thing is we actually had to turn down the BC from where it was with the stock DV.
so how much psi are you spiking currently?
I noticed that you've gained +43whp/+53wtq
, with previous dyno #'s done at 28psi...
Spiking to like 35psi with 93 and meth on the Green turbo now?

Now we have about a 5 psi gain over the 28psi we were running with the stock DV. But, this on 101oct and water/meth with the green turbo. Not the 93oct you mentioned
