Great job on both cars and I cant wait to see the end result!

Wow,a cut up gutted Evo with a DSM engine and GM powerglide auto tranny. I'm not so sure you will ever be able to convince anyone this is really an Evo, but I'm sure it will be hella fast!

I want to paint the car.

Ship it to me, and tell me what colors you want. With a small payment (Hell, I'll paint it for materials+10%)

P.S. It's an inspiration to finish my own project - though it's just a street car with a built motor - learning something new and progressing is what it's about. Good to see you got it rolling.

Keep it up.

Well its pretty bad but it seems I will be forced to sell the car. The car is pretty much finished. I have no tinned it or put lexan in it but have all the materials to do so. There are a few minor things that need to be done to it (Like radiator mounts and other simple little things).

It needs a dash (Which I can make), guages, a TQ convertor, transmission, full engine / turbo, fuel pump, regulator, and a driveshaft. It has -10 lines and a 3 gallon cell ready for methanol or gas if you want. It comes with everything you see within this thread including an EMS to make it go. I am willing to make a header and an intake manifold. I will make the exhaust and intake also if someone would like. In fact, I would finish the car completely to a turn key vehicle with a downpayment.

I do not wish to disclose the reasons this car needs to be sold publically but I would be happy to explain if someone is serious about purchasing the car. If someone is truly interested I would recommend coming here to look at the car in person so we could discuss what else on the vehicle they would like finished before they pic it up.

If someone decided to take the car as is the price would have to be around $18,000. To make the car a turn key vehicle it would be closer to $25,000-$40,000 depending on what they want inside it. I believe this price is far under what the vehicle is worth. Similair vehicles sell for over $40k used for a few seasons without any other parts. I am willing to make a carbon fiber interior and would really do anything someone could want - I know some people may want it to use an Evo engine as opposed to the DSM engine which is an easy change. The car has been owned by 1 person since brand new, has a clean titel (If it really matters at this point). Please give me a call if you are honestly interested in the vehicle:

Timothy Russell
507-459-8629 Cell

The vehicle is in Winona, MN 55987 if someone is interested in coming down to look at it.

Also, considering the car does have a clean title one owner bought brand new, you would be able to take a loan out from a bank that would more than cover the cost of the car as is I am sure.

Tim, that's so sad that you've ran into problems.

The car was looking great.

Maby faster and easer to start with a damaged evo, but that is one hell of a project.

I have a few people that are interested in the car and a few of those individuals decided if they do buy the car they would like me to finish it for them so the car will still be a beast, just not mine. I am also sure that whomever buys it and doesnt want to pay to have me finish it are more than capable of finishing it off well.

And so it ends. 18k for a completely cut up and destroyed Evo with no fitted drivetrain or engine? I'm not trying to sound like a ***** or anything but this car will not sell for anything over 4-6k. You can buy low mileage 9's that have suffered minor body damage on ridesafely.com for 6k

You obviously have no clue what he's selling.
