Okay so I was going down the interstate and it starts raining pretty heavy. I was going to a spot where alot of my buddies who have evo's hang out on saturday night. since it started raining I turned around. when i turned around I got into the car and it started spinning pretty heavily. IT was raining so I know that it wasnt gripping too good. that night and the necxt day it started roaring when you would get on it. as I was taking it to the dealership it got so bad i couln't hear my radio. sometimes it sounded like it could be the T-case and other times it sounded like the rear diff. ANY ONE HAVE A CLUE. Its an 06 IX.

 

Either way, its broke.

 

And before anyone says use the search feature I know the roaring means a bad T-case but don't the IX's have a revised T-case from the 8's? It also makes a rattle almost like flywheel chatter. when it sounds like it is coming from up front.

I understand wheelhop is quite detrimental to the drivetrain... Time to get some warranty (hopefully) work done.

 

Anyone have an idea of what it could be. I appreciate the comments but I would really like answers
