Mines going at 7000. Slips in 3rd & 4th when I put the hammer down.

 

mine is dead at 11,xxx..... i would say yeah they ****ed up... and that being an under statement

Ballistic, what did you manage to get your 60ft times down to at the track?

 

2056 miles been slipping HORRIBLY since 1780 miles. I've had the car about 2 1/2 weeks ! Soemehow i managed to pick up a speeding ticket for doing 87 in a 65 on the NJ turnpike going to LBI (i was literally 30 ft from my exit) with my slipping clutch. BTW i hate laser!

 

also im callin my dealership tomorow (monday may 17th) and if i dont have a warratee i wanna sue whose with me!

 

Sports Compact has an write up on fixing your Evo clutch in this month's (June) edition. It is interesting, check it out.

 

Which page? Thumbing through 250 pages, I missed it..

 

all it says is that they replaced it with an exedy twin disc (i think that was the clutch) and that it was still streetable....wow quite the write up.. nothing new to report

 

how did you pull that off? I bet your intertior still smells like clutch


what did the replacement cost you?

 

14,000 miles and I'm at 326 WHP and not one problem.
