FULL RACE TWIN SCROLL 30R results and data
A few notes to consider:
- This is a 93 octane reflash, and the car is running less boost (24.X) than it did at the track. There is more power left in it (as evident by the 126mph trap speeds).
- These cams are retuned to give a bit more emphasis on the top side of things. If he wanted absolute best spool, he would have installed them at 0/0. As anyone can see, it spools quickly. A glance at the video reveals one thing that isn't recorded on a dyno - time to rpm. Things begin happening quickly from only about 3k rpm.
- A changeover to a 1.06 A/R TS T3 and a bump in boost pressure (26-28 psi) will give another 20-30whp with the same 93 octane fuel, and loses only ~100-150 rpm in spool (as Drifto noted on his car). With evodan2004 demonstrating 126 mph traps using this quick-spooling .78 A/R TS hotside, I would be hard-pressed to recommend anything else for this particular turbo for street and with 93 octane.
What this illustrates is how streetworthy and versatile a twin scroll 3076R setup is as compared to the regular open housing configurations. I've said this only a dozen times before, and I'll say it again, one has to actually drive this setup to fully appreciate how responsive the big turbo is with TS.

Did you have to get the coil on plug...because you were blowing out spark, or get it for down the road when running high boost?
I see you roll with the gold foil also...
Looks sweet!!

How much more boost did you run at the track then on the dyno exactly?
Were you watching the boost controller on your passes?
In the part of the map above your "pump gas boost level" are these cells tuned for pump or race? Meaning would you det if you hit these cells on pump? If you wouldn't det in these cells, why do you not run them on the dyno?

For the dyno PSI look at the logs he posted

And if a car knocks on pump at boost level X, and you run boost level X at the track because you have some race fuel in the car, then your running a race fuel map in my book.
hey. who are you from my home town??? lol. im doing a 35r now. im sure a 40r will come in time. probly 600miles after the 35r like i did with the 30r. the 30r turbo only has about 700miles on it and its coming off. haha
Hi.. sorry I meant boost _guage_ not controller. Did you datalog at the track and check your boost or eyeball it with the guage?
