Looking forward to results, great job as always Martin.

Did JUN opt out like Cosworth? I was very curious how JUN 272 cams performed in this test as that is the cams I run.

Wow, no HKS 280's either. Or the FP 2 - 280x's (which is what I run)

Ahh well, lots of cams to test for sure.

Martin, thanks for posting the results (finally ). Can't wait to see all results to see what I want to ultimately go with.

Were all the cams set to 0/0 ? If so, I'd be concerned that the results may change significantly based on different cam-gear settings. The testing we did on my car with the HKS 280 cams a couple of years ago would be a good example of this...

Also, what about results for Jun 272 cams? Were those not on the car at some point in the past?

Good to see you testing them all out. Like to see the JUNs done as well, currently on the HKS 280s.

Any chance you guys could test the Helix V2 272's? I am trapping 91.5mph in the 1/8 with just bolt ons, Helix cams, 21psi of boost & pump gas. The car made 350whp on a dyno dynamics and the WHP & MPH seem pretty high for the mods. We can only assume these Helix cams are pretty good! I know they lope pretty hard....

There is almost no data that I can find other than they are 10.5 & 10.8 on the lift.

Big to Martin and AMS!!! I dont own an evo but a huge thanks and more are owed to you guys!!! It is truely something to have such testing being done and the results being shared in a community freely.

People might not want to be so quick to ask for them to test this cam, that cam, these other half a dozen cams, etc... stop and think how much labor/ time is involved in this process with the 12 cams listed on the first page. Yes of course everyone would love a huge comprehensive test freely shared here of every imaginable cam but lets be realistic here... easy said, not as easily done. These are obviously the cams they had provided and access to test at that moment in time. I am sure they would test others if they had them.

Thanks AMS...

hopefully in the near future. as was said this cam test took a great deal of time. Aside from the labor of swapping each cam they had to be dialed in as well. Lots of hours in this project.
