Ams Evo Cam Test
Your post is a little misleading. I assume they were not set at 0/0. I think they were set at whatever yielded "straight up". This info would be nice to have. Assuming each manufacturer has tight tolerances in cam to cam manufacturing why would saying X cam was set at -1/+2 (or whatever) to yield "straight up".
Maybe I am missing something or have a misunderstanding of cam timing. If so, please share to expand my knowlege as well as that of the EVO community.

That's also the reason why, when I have a set of cams installed, I try various cam gear settings to see where the powerband works best for what I am looking for. Using that method I also don't have to worry about degreeing the cams.

Eric,
Waiting on this information, but which style of Tomei cam? And do you think me changing from JUN 272's to the Tomei 280's would be worth the money? This is why I wanted to see the JUN so I could compare to the Tomei.
Need more results!

The Mitsubishi Lancer Register has some good information regarding different cams. I am not sure how accurate this information is.

+1 interested to know what version of the tomei's was tested..
Exactly
That's why I like using Jun 272's on a stock head with valvesprings retainers, they don't have big lift but they have a lot of area under the lift curve and good opening and closing ramps. Advertised duration is 272 on the Jun's but the duration at .050" is 225 on the intake and 226 on the exhaust. The HKS 272 (advertised duration) only have 208 on the intake and 206 on the exhaust at .050" The GSC S2's have 217 on intake and exhaust at .050"

So which cams is the best for stock head w/37R?
?
more results FTW .... c'mon, c'mon ... I know you guys couldn't possibly have anything better to do.
Those Tomei results are very intriguing, but I still wanna see the mythical cam that will improve over my HKS 280s across the entire powerband...

If you could update the first page with the daily Cam Tests that would be gravy, this way we don't have to wast time shuffling through pages looking for the results.. It will also be easier to compare all the cams being that they will be displayed on the same page.

just updated with another new cam
