AMS Dyno Graph, What Mod Would You Do Next?
New Exedy Twin Disc and ill be right at the Drag Strip with timeslips posted also!
Whoever asked what the OP's actual use/motorsport goals for the car are deserves a cookie and thanks. Until then this thread was a great way to get grossly conflicting information.
I know you were pretty set on race gas, but if you are open to it: regarding fuel and the results you'll get from it for the money, I agree that E85 is one of your best options. With that in mind:
Of course the clutch like you said
1000-1200cc injectors
re-flash for both E85 and E70
maybe rod bolts
WB02 on board if you don't already have it, since in places like Chicago I am pretty sure they switch it to E70 in the Winter
Maybe one of the fuel content gauges some of us lucky ***** got from Serbia
so you will be sure when to load the other map and turn the boost down a little
With only that little bit in mods, you'll probably see at least a 70whp increase on the DJ from the E85 tune, and have a pretty safe setup.

- FPGreen @ 24psi
- 680cc (or similar) injectors
- GM 3 PORT boost control solenoid
- Tune boost using ECU (ditch the MBC)
- IndyEvo ported stock intake manifold
- WOT (aby@milspec) 65mm TB
- Buschur ported exhaust manifold
- AMS (headgames) ported head
Even with my buildup (AMS 3071, then 50 trim), it took a while to get to the 400 whp mark on AMS' dyno with a 93 octane tune. Granted, I've got a VIII, so it should be easier for you to get there, but it's not that easy on pump gas.

That's going to be a difficult target to hit. You might get close with:

Oh i know its definately not going to be easy and cheap. I'm pretty much well prepared for that. The only thing i dont see me doing right now is the ported head because of the price ($2010.00). Its a bit outta my price range, i can afford the FP Green, Upper IC pipe, ported exhaust mani, injectors, retune. How much does those GM 3 ports run?
