Now from what I understant the v3 manifold used on the car will increase hp but will also cause a loss of up to 700 rpm on spool?

By monitoring the rpms, we ALWAYS knew, and kept the shaft speed at exactly where it should be, and NOT beyond. So, with that, you can be assured that the turbo was not even close to the 'exploding limit'.
Good,
You and I both know how some tunners like to show the potential of a new product. But I like alot of people like to have a good product for reliabilty and power. After reading more today on further post's you have made it seems apparent that this turbo will be very promising for many. It would just be nice if we as potential customers could see the benifits of these turbos being tested on both pump gas and race gas. Most of us out there don't want to run C16 or can afford to run C16.

Thanks

9sec9 runs VP Import. Always has. Even on the street. He took the time and paid the money to find out what he needed to know for his car and setup. He was kind enough to share it with us. Thanks, Tom!

Dave B. gave us some additional information about Trent's car, running the Red with a different combination.

Someone who wants to use the Red (or the Green, or the White) with different mods or other fuels may have to just buy one and put it on their car, pay for dyno time, and find out the usual way how it responds to their mods.

I'm going to be running a Red. When I get it installed, and get some numbers, I'll post them up. I'm probably going E85, so if there are some others interested in that fuel, we'll have some numbers in a few weeks.

Sounds good..... Im sure its going to be good Id like to know how it compares to the fp3065 kit after reading it uses a 76 wheel. As you can see in my signature E85 is my choice.

It sucks, but its the way it is.
There's a simple solution to that -- "Our policy is not to comment on future product releases. You'll have to wait and see."

Good idea, and you know what else? Screw all the whiners.

Most of the people on this site are all "give us the new ****" all the time, but then everybody wants like 10 effing people with every conceivable combination of parts to buy one first so they can "see the results" and try to guess how much power it will make on their screwed up eBay hodge-podge of ripped-off chinese crap they bought cheap and put on their car.

And anyone who bought something else because they didn't know this was coming is an idiot. That's the price you pay for being impatient. Everybody knew the FP Red was coming. Hell I posted my suspicions in January!

This turbo is AWESOME!! I will talk about it some more after I go back to the track again. You will need bigger injectors than 1000cc to run E85
