It's fine with me either way. I can see how it would be difficult and expensive to mill the blades out of a high temperature steel alloy. Much harder than milling compressor blades from an aluminum billet.

Just to clarify, billet machined COMP wheels are fairly common. That's what Robert was referring to earlier in this thread (post #496), and that's where the confusion set in.

GrocMax's pic in this thread is of the Red's turbine wheel (as-cast blades, logo, grinding, et al). Billet turbine wheels are essentially nonexistent in a consumer sense. Even motorsports turbine wheels are investment cast.

Ya me for the green for like 2 months then changed the order to the red the day after it was released. Just waiting now hope its not touch longer. Well they say good things come to those who wait.

i dont even think they had those 15 cos i calld the next day and they werent there but yet if sum1 would have gotten them im sure they would have it at there doorstep by now....buschur is suppose to get there first batch in this week so hopefully ill b gettin mine soon

i read somewere here they had 15 units on sale. If all the hype turns true I guess there going to be few month wait to get it.

yea buschur said they had 15 ready right after the 9sec9 car was finished testing but i dont think they had them

FP Says no one has any! Maybe 15 were ordered. And i was told 3 to 4 weeks.

I believe CO VR4 has one. If that's the case, i'm going to be pissed, i just sold the green, and all i have left is my stock turbo. It better show up before summer ends.
