There are the dyno and track results from Trent's(Buschur Racing) Evo, in addition to Tom and Tony's Evo.

Why would you want a 60lb/min compressor on a basic bolt-on car?

It'll have more lag than on well-prepared cars and none of the top end power to make up for it.

I'd stick with a Green on a bpu Evo. It'll give you just about all the power your car can make up top without all of the lag.

lots of people are into drag racing and don't care about "lag". When you shift at 8k you'll land ~ 6500 where respool is instant so it's a non issue...hell, it's a non issue with a 35R. If was building another stock appearing bolt on warrior I would skip the green too.

Yeah, I just wanted to point out to Sully 18, that there was a second heavily modded car(Trent's) from which to glean some results and not just Tom's car.

I too am dying to see what Mellon, and also, Razorlab can get out of the Red through the stock ECU, unported head, and less radical camshafts. Still, the early results are promising.

JBrown makes a good point. The Red's compressor outflows a 3076. So, why would anyone bolt one onto a street driven DD car, with unported head and S1 cams?

Trent was claiming pretty decent spoolup for the Red though.

gotcha, I'm just waiting for someone to get a red in their hands and hopefully they'll have a nice setup, not a mixed bag or parts that don't work well together. That could give a disappointing first impression to everyone else.

what Tom/Tony and Trent have done with the Red is amazing...embarrassing some large frame turbo people. I just hope there's a significant increase in pump gas power over say a green which was disappointing to me personally when I had one.

I love my "laggy" 35R daily driver...the first time you go WOT @ 30psi on pump you say to yourself "wgaf about lag"

What's encouraging, to me at least, is that the Red's compressor is a way colder blowing than the Green. 9sec9 recorded significant reductions in inlet air temps(70+ F.) when comparing the Red to the Green back to back. This should allow you to dial in a lot more timing, as well as more boost up top on pumpgas.
