Clutch not engaging or broken trans
Clutch not engaging or broken trans
Alright so I was out practicing launching the other night and went to launch and the car did nothing went nowhere.
I can put the car in gear and start it. The car is in gear and doesn't move. I can shift to second without using the clutch while the car is running and the car does nothing. If I rev it up in like third I can very faintly here something moving and in fifith what ever it is, is moving faster. However the car still seems to shift fine and there are no grinds going in to the gears and I still have pedal pressure. It's very confusing help me out guys. Thanks.
Also the clutch is a RPS twin carbon

I thought if the TOB popped off or if the clip broke, the clutch wouldn't disengage. Currently the clutch won't engage. I can shift through all the gears without the clutch pushed in while the car is running and the car goes nowhere.

thats how mine was when i blew the t-case...grinding noise was fairly noisy in all gears though. easy enough to check the t/o bearing though just look through the boot on the trans.
I thought that if you still had pedal pressure, the clutch clip was still there. It sounds to me like he's getting rpm to go through the trans properly, except something behind it isn't putting power to the wheels. (t-case)
