I did the graph for the 3.73 too, just didn't post it. I talked to David and he feels the 4.11 is a better option for drag racing than the 3.73, so that's the route I'm going.

Slo Rice or Buschur can you confirm that these final drives will have 5th gear at 200mph+ since Buschur said the 2.4 will be able to rev out to 9000rpm+. Will the Evo's Aero support that

Update is the engine is done and looks like we have a car to install it in. Car will be equipped with an FP Red and tuned on the stock ECU at our shop.

david send me a price for one of these 2.4l shortblocks u speak of. what piston and rods will u be using? include in that price a new front oil pump and gasket set and a balance shaft eliminator kit?

IIRC All BR race engines have the balance shaft eliminated.

Althought it will be a great test to see the 2.4 with a red, I can't wait to see a big billet turbo on the subject motor revving to 9000rpm!

A 20% increase in displacemen will significantly improve spool and the 9000rpm limit is enough to pull the car in the 1/4 mile!
