With a good tune you will see some impressive gains, especially over 91 octane...

Last Mustang Dyno tune was 330hp/350tq with the following mods on 93

Stock 8 turbo running 25lbs
Upper IC piping
Intake
HKS 272 cams
Turbo Back exhaust

Now after my build

Forged rotating assembly - Compression 9.5:1
Supporting fuel mods
LICP
Ported head
Ported Intake manifold
Megan Racing Headers
10.5 HS for the turbo - staying with 25lbs
Ported turboxs O2 housing
200lb weight loss
EGR delete

Any guess on the new numbers?

Thanks, will probably go with a dual map tune for both 91 and E85.

I have a 05 RS I am going to be putting race gas in and cranking it up. The engine has
Wiseco 1400 hd pistons ( either stock comp or 9.1 can't remember)
Eagle h beam rods
Stock crank
Ams Race shaft
Cosworth HG
Map head studs
Arp mains
Basically stock head with a new valve job
His 272 cams
Stock intake
Hta86 turbo kit from buschur (dsm housing) .63 a/r housing
1150cc injectors
300lph deatchwerks fuel pump
Buschur apexi exhaust
Tuning is ecuflash by 4wstuning via e mail

I want to put race gas in the new engine after i bring the car up to were I live now and let it rip. it's 110 oct and I was wondering what everyone's guess is that the car will make. I think I may run out of injector before we max the turbo out.

Lets see what my fellow evo brothers have to say!

EVO 9 MR

AMS 2.3 Stroker
ETS 6262 Turbokit (Ball Bearing)
ETS Intake
Custom 3 Inch TBE
ETS Intercooler Short Route Piping
ETS 3 inch Intercooler
Supertech Dual Springs & Retainers
Cosworth 272 cams
ARP Headstuds
Manual Boost Controller (in the process of solving the mystery behind Mitsu not having a MAP sensor on EDM Evo 9's)
DW 300 Fuel Pump
Precision 1200 cc Injectors
Evo 8 - 5 speed tranny conversion

Will be tuned for 94 octane and race gas! Very keen on running a meth kit!

if u have a smartphone, they have various quarter mile apps that give you a very rough estimate of how fast u can do on a 1/4 mile and i think even 1/2, but again very rought and if i remember correctly i think they have estimated hp as well, but again VERY rough

would like an estimation! im new at the evo

whats up guys?? so i just barely bought my first evo last wed and all i can say is wow i love it shes a beast! so i had a few 1st gen dsm so im a little familiar with the motor portion of the car. i actually just sold my built srt-4 to pick this car up n its night and day lol so i would like just a few estimates on the hp my car is prob around with the current mods (ill be dynoing it in couple weeks) and also where to start continuing my build?? so these are the current mods

fully built 4g64 2.4 stroker for slow boy racing stage 2 built tranny from shep built tranfer case from spec ops it has arp head studs, balnce shaft eliminated, acl bearing, and manley h beam rods and 8:1 pistons (i think thats the right ratio there also bored .20 over) it has bc 272 cams and hks cam gears ppi short route intercooler piping and ppi front mount 3" turbo back intake act 6 puck tial Q 50mm bov tial 44mm mvr wastegate dw 300 in tank pump and dw 1350cc injectors ken bell boost a pump aem uego, tru boost, oil pressure i think thats most of the supporting mods now the cool part it is pushing a twin scroll gt4088r with cutom built downpipe to keep the ac lol has a tubular manny and hotside is a 1.06 ar hotside. and cool thing is the guy had the exhaust housing custom built with quick spool valves! to my knowledge not one other evo has had this done there actually made usually for big displacement cars and i see them on supras so it was pretty interesting. the car is pushing 34 psi right now but i turned it down to get used to it lol he was running it on e85 but its too far drive for me to keep filling it with that so im getting it back to 91 tune right now and adding meth. so any info would help im curious on hp range and where to go next thanks for looking
