I said this is cuz, u need lots of air to make hp on 93 pump gas. Because u can only run so much psi out of 93 pump gas. I bought a red cuz iam switching to e85 also, so i can run 30psi. But iam thinking swithing back to pump gas93 now, but the red on pump can only make like 425hp dynojet. So i kinda regret this. If i would do this again, i'll get the ets hta gt3586 kit, and should be good to like 500hp dynojet on pump.
i have overlays of MANY stock frame turbos killing 35R's and the like at that boost level..

you could put a 35R on, run 25psi... make 400whp and 290 wtq.... or run a BBK at 25 psi, make 370 whp and make 340wtq... i think id choose the latter...

oh yeah, at around 4000rpm youd see about 80 more wtq

to the op, it's all depend on where u drive the car, drag, roadrace, ect.
red, bbk, green = no turbo lag, less top end
gt35r, gt42r= 1000rpm laggier, more top end
My next turbo would be a ets 42r turbo kit. I care less for lag, just love top end power and room to grow in future build. That is just me. Good luck bro

ooops

cb

and another,

same car, BR stage 3 head, stock block, pump gas, BR race fmic, BBK and 330R (slightly bigger than 30R) little more boost on the BBK, but still massive difference in the chart..

the client hated the lag and delivery, so we moved him back to a bbk...

to chad block at cbrd, a 35r kit on evo 8,9 10, make a lot more than 400whp. I think you are a little off on estimating i know the stock frame would kill a 35r on stop and go driving. But on the highway above 70mph, iam sure the 35r would kill all the stock frame turbo, all day long . And that is top end power i would love to have.

im not going to argue with you, but with basic bolt ons, and similar boost levels a 35R is not going to blow away a good stock frame turbo.

I have plenty of overlays if youd like to see them...

What about the lag mr smart??? Apart from the power under the curve, the main reason why people favor the BBK over the Red is because it spools 500rpm quicker!!!!

Have a look at the criteria and then respond accordingly please!!!

like i said nitrouxoxide, iam on the red now and no lag, but i would rather trade up for a bigger turbo like 35r, 42r. i dont mine laggier , cuz i know e85 actually make the turbo spool up a little quicker than 93pump.

so you're saying a 35r on e85 will spool as fast as a stock turbo on gasoline? sounds like you have the experience to back it up!

mostly drag, going straight fast, with occansional autox and circuit (talladega is pretty close to georgia). im only going with fp red or bbk, sorry the 30R and bigger series is NOT what i am looking for.

i could buy either turbo with room to upgrade to meth injection down the road....like i said im going with a stock frame turbo, why? because they are PROVEN (not saying the HTA 35R isnt)

I do have overlays of them, but... they arent apples to apples... as most of the red cars we've had here didnt have what we would recommend for supporting mods, so the performance shows as lucklaster...... i dont think its an accurate comparison..

wait, are you putting up a dream land section in the shop? does it have a 35r on e105 that spools faster than stock? i heart you guys. and tell mark that i appreciate the arrows. he put them on my undertray to mark the fasteners to remove to expedite beatrush undertray un/install. i have been meaning to put up a thread about that
