I have a 2000 6.5 RS (50k miles) with the stock RS diff, and I'm would like to know when they should be rebuilt/reserviced and if adding preload to an RS diff is better for track car? Looking at a parts break it seem to have 10 plates, would that be correct and is adding more beneficial? Also has anyone used this MAXGRIP kit from or heard of Weir Performance?
http://www.weirperformance.com/maxgriplsdkits.html

I use Amsoil SVG 75w90 currently and have japanese coilovers with 12k F and 9K R springrates and stock sway bars. Sorry for all the questions but I have minimal track experience(1 trackday) and I'm just starting to build it as a track car and any info on were to start with my overall handling setup would be great.

i'd go with a cusco.. i mean i'm sure they could do something here in the states with the rs diff but pricewise it'll prob be cheaper when you think about the shipping and all.. the cusco is a better diff too

Forecast shows its high chance of rain. You might not need so much oversteer.

i just bought the TRE rear with 12 plate upgrade and the HD side cover. i do not turn the wheel like most of you guys do. i am a straight line 1320 type person. the car is street driven mostly but hits the 1320 on the weekends. so i guess ill be giving my review on the rear for this type of usage.

waiting on that call back from you Jon,

Jon's had my diff for almost 5 weeks now (if it hasn't shipped, which I don't know if it has)

I wouldn't send anything his way at this point in time since it seems his so backed up.
